Hotel Island Star

We had a terrible experience with this hotel. They shared nice pictures through whats up and convinced us to pay an advance, but when we arrived, the reality was shocking. The rooms were in terrible condition, and the bathrooms were completely unusable. Despite our complaints, the advance payment was not refunded. We were a group of 15 people and had to spend the night scrambling to find another hotel, causing us significant inconvenience and stress. I strongly advise others to avoid this place unless they improve their standards and honesty.

Very poor, don't go to this hotel, better sleep on street. Rooms very dirty, bedsheet dirty, pillow dirty, all the linen/sheets are stinking smells very bad. Not provided sheets during our stay whole night we sleep without sheets very poor. I have booked for 3 days but due to all above issues I have to cancel my booking after 1 night. I have called police to get my money refund. So please don't go to this Hotel. Price is too high compared to other hotels around.

Worst hotel u may ever find. Better to stay in slum rather than spend in the hotel. No service at all. No wqter bottles/no towel provided to rooms. Curtains bedsheets pillow covers are not washed or replaced. Our room bedsheet probably had stains of menstruation from previous guest. Water supply is salty like sea water. So u cant use bathroom water for bath or washing face/mouth. Wall paints coming off. Lots of insects in room. Power supply erratic. No inverter/generator back up. Plug points are loose/don't work. No roomboy/house keeping available. Only owner available. His response is useless. We had to wait for 2 hours for room after check in. Ground floor some places stagnant water. Pumps have been deployed to pump out water. Nearby plenty of hotels/Dharamshalas/ guest house available. So never go to this hotel. We chose the hotel for its location and booked through agoda. We were fooled by the pictures. Worst experience ever.

The rooms were very dirty and the bathroom was also very dirty. AC was broken and not working. The bathroom literally had moss and mould. The only decent thing was the location as it was close the Rameshwaram temple.

This hotel deserves minus rating but m unable to do it. No hygiene, bedsheets has not been chnaged for years. And if you ask anything they reply "yaha to aisa hi hota hai" very bad experience.

I am unable to give below 1 star thats why i m giving 1 star No hygiene, zero hospitality and we waited for 2 hours then they gave me the key of room and the room and service was very disappointing. Overall this hotel desereves minus rating.

The rooms are very dirty and everything is stinking, the rooms are very very every bad. we have booked 11 rooms the checkout time was 9:00 am but we got 3 rooms after 11:00 am. there are mosquitoes in the room at night

I booked room one and a half month before my trip but on the day I reached with my family they gave us such a dirty and stinking room it was impossible to stay there and we spent the whole night on the reception and owner didn't give a bull shit and he just slept.
