Kathadi North

I also stayed at their property called Kathadi North. Its a beautiful property with excellent food, the staff and hosts are very friendly, its away from all the hullabaloo of the city/town, you would get used to the peace, you can spot the milkyway on a clear night lying on the hammock. If you are an pet lover they have 3 dogs and there are also friendly cats roaming around the campus. If you are a bird watcher you might spot a few birds on the trees within the property. The beach is at a walkable distance and its one of the most clean, quiet and serene beaches i have been to.

One of the best places to get trained for water sports is Quest Academy. I visited this place for snorkeling and found it quite interesting. Their hospitality is trustworthy. They are so reliable that I had my 11-year-old nephew travel alone from Hyderabad to Madurai and let them handle everything from there. They were so caring and ensured my nephew was safe at all times. They guided him in every aspect and helped him successfully complete his open water dive course, making him one of the youngest certified open water divers. I'm so glad I took a leap of faith in Shaurya and made this decision. I will make sure my nephew and I come back again! Thank you, Quest Academy, and especially Shaurya!

As someone who quite enjoys the outdoors Kathadi North was a welcome break and an eye opener. Me and my friend were riding down the Konkan coast from Rajasthan and landed up here on ou way towards Chennai. The rooms were extremely tastefully done and very airy with a lot of character and well thought out touches (special mention to the open air bath). We were in the middle of a heatwave in the summer and the heat was tolerable thanks to the wide windows and ventilation. Food options especially dinner was limited (being a bit off the beaten path it is understandable) but every meal we had was not only delicious but also very well plated. And lastly the activities were brilliant. To my misfortune there seas were a bit stormy that day but i still managed to get in a good hour of kayaking which left me not only horribly sore but wanting more. Post which i just jumped into the sea and let all the aches and pains of the ride get washed away by the bluest water i had experienced in a while. The hosts were very gracious and helped us chart out the rest of our ride even suggesting the best routes and places to eat along our route to Chennai. I hope to go back for a longer period soon (hopefully not the summer though)

Beautiful place and very well maintained property. We went with our toddler and had so much of fun there. I tried Discovery scuba diving and the instructor was so good and explained everything so well. They had all the safety measures and made my scuba experience so memorable. They have kite surfing, snorkeling, paddle boating and kayaking too. ||The food was excellent and the staying in the hut cottage was an experience.

You can tell that a lot of thought has been put into ensuring guests have a great experience at Kathadi North/Quest Academy, despite it being slightly away from the main town. The team at Quest is very adept, and guided us well during the adventure sports sessions we had scheduled (snorkeling, kayaking). The academy is very well equipped, and the tours are carried out giving a lot of importance to safety. They also ensure that you're having a good time, while learning/trying out a new sport. The cottages at Kathadi North are simple, adequate and well designed. Good food, as well. Very happy to have spent our short trip to Rameshwaram at the property.

The place is beautiful with small cozy cottages. The night view of the sky from the hammock is highly recommended. Place is run by the amazing couple who have beautifully woven their lives with the locals. The Wind surfing experience was really amazing and the unforgettable memory of snorkeling in ocean and the catamaran ride with my cat is on the top things I did this year. They are skilled professionals and have all the equipment highly recommend this place for solo, family and couple. The sea is beautiful and the beach is extremely clean. Will be back again when the season is up for diving.

We had an awesome time with fun scuba diving experience with the Quest Academy. We were very well instructed on how to go for the scuba dive. Very kind and patient instructors (Thanvi and Rishab) who really really made things so easy and enjoyable for us. Kathadi north a really very hospitable place with very lovely people. Thank you so much and looking forward to doing the PADI certification course with you guys soon.

Lovely little place tucked away with amazing instructors/staff. The beautiful Palk Bay is 500mts away-extremely clean and empty except for a few village kids. |Simple cottages, simple food and warm generous hosts! We had a great time learning some of the water sports and interesting conversations over |dinner. Thank you to the entire team-Upasana, Jehan, Durba, Karthik, Rishab, Tanvi.
