Very unfriendly staff. Called to ask about a room for one person. He just said 1 person not possible and hung up without a word. Rude.

If we are going to Pondicherry for a trip then most of the time is spent outside only. So as per my experience rooms are just for changing and having rest. If you are staying for a single night then this property is fine but if you want to stay for a long time then I would say go for another one. This property is just 100m away from the Aero Beach. Rooms are fine, not bad. AC is working fine. You can order food from outside too. The nearby area is simple. Not more crowded.

We went to this place with my family. The rooms are neat and clean, and feels safe but that service person little bit rude. During checkout they have charged me some amount for cleaning charges.

It's in an okayish location. The rooms are good. But they charge literally too much for the food they bring from a nearby restaurant. The quantity is less and they charge for the delivery too, which takes only around 3 to 4 minutes by walk itself. The geyser system wasn't working properly too. They do not offer even a jug of water to the rooms.

One of the best cottage in Auroville with an afordable price. The rooms are very neat & clean and the best part is the bathrooms, which is well maintained. The hotel staffs are also very good and very helpful. Before going for the final booking I went through many negative reviews saying that the hotel is bad, not for familys etc. But trust me its the most safest place to stay with your family or friends. Me & my hubby enjoyed a lot and felt very safe there. They also provide rental Bike & Scooty & the location is exact as shown in the map. And last but not the least, the best part of the hotel is, its just near the beach, say about 600m. We had a great experience with Selvasi Beach Cottage.

Clean and well maintained with reasonable price

Bad Things: 1. The cottage was near to the beach, but not so much near. You cannot feel you are at sea side. 2. No other staffs other than the manager. 3. if you go their please feel free to make friend with the manager. Because you have to get down each and every time for his help. Like: taking spoon, plates, for asking for tea. 4. We were about to leave the place by 8 so at 7 AM I went their to clear my rent. but no one was their. even I cannot imagine how the hotel staffs sleeps till 7 in the morning. Good things: 1. Clean Rooms. 2. Manager is friendly.
