Arasu Plaza (Hotel Selvam & Selvam)

Worst experience, pathetic rooms. i am doing this review at 2:50am after waking up an hour ago. It is raining outside but i feel the effect of hammer hitting on my head. Poor acoustics. changed the room due to the noise in the previous room. however it is the same issue. The rainwater dripping sound on the window ac unit is annoying. lost my sleep completely, the blanket with napthalin ball smell is a first of it kind of experience i never met. if you are sensitive to sound and smell please avoid.

Rated this hotel 4 Stars, 4 years before. Editing the rating now due to the worst communication. We called a night before check-in and asked them if there are any rooms available for tomorrow morning and they asked us to pay the amount for that to BLOCK THE ROOM for tomorrow morning. We paid and later on the night of our check-in they were asking to pay 1 day charges from the previous day (the day I called) to the current day(the day we checked in). The price is good and the rooms are okay.

Nice comfort stay with easy acess to restaurant and shopping zone..with car parking and lift...they have geyser for hot water

Don't go for it...worst experience I had it with them, they are just money minded I have booked an AC room they provided me an old AC with out remote, it was not working properly they didn't do anything for it, In the late night it was smelled of cigarette I have complained about it but they asked me to check out they are crooked please don't go for it

Humans can't stay here! Unfriendly staffs who provide you no guidance. Booked rooms in bulk for a marriage function. Rooms are so dull. No good lighting. Rooms are so small. You will have to jump on to bed immediately after opening the door. Untidy beds that had some nasty stains all over. Blankets were never washed and not in usable condition. When I turned on AC, it gave some 'trak trak' sound and it continued throughout. One can never sleep with AC on. Must be a strategy from the management. Fan was fitted in the middle of the room and bed placed at corner. So no use of having a fan at all. Mosquitoes all over. Tap on the bed, move the curtain, you'll find mosquitoes literally all over. All damaged interiors which was not fixed. Almirah was not having proper door and was unusable. Bathroom is the worst. They must never have cleaned since inception. You must wear a mask to save yourself from the 'fragrance' lol. Only positive is they have basement car parking, much needed in Pattukottai. Pathetic stay overall!

Stayed in NON AC. Fan, Plug point water bottle provided. Toilet also looking neat. TV relays through cable but cable not working fine. Apart from this value for money compare to nearby hotels.

Please check the bed / A/c then book the room since they will show one room and provide another room / Best part parking and lift available.
