Review for GReaT Trails Riverview Resort, Thanjavur by GRT Hotels||||We stayed at GReaT Trails Riverview Resort, Thanjavur for a night on 10th May, booking two rooms for 4 adults and 3 kids -- and it was a truly delightful experience!||||The primary goal of our trip was to relax and spend quality time together, and this resort was the perfect setting. The location is stunning -- right next to the river, offering a serene and scenic backdrop. The property is very well maintained, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. To our pleasant surprise, the resort upgraded our room, which added to the joy of our stay.||||The kids had a blast, thanks to the indoor and outdoor play areas, and even the adults had space to unwind and have fun. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the hospitality of the staff made us feel truly welcome.||||We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this property to families looking for a relaxing getaway in Thanjavur.

We had a great time the moment we entered the property. Management treated us like their family and I would really appreciate each and everyone working from 6th May to 8th May 25, as I don't have much space mention all their names. Our plan was to visit Big temple, but Hotel Management gave us a surprise which is really amazing. Many Thanks to all of you. I will definitely visit every year just to meet a wonderful team.

Very good place to stay in Tanjavur. The staff is very helpful and informative. Good customer centric approach. Appreciate our interaction with Jainul from from front desk and Rajesh (F&B manager). The rooms are comfortable, excellent pool (closes at 6 pm though). Excellent view of the river with peacocks sightings from and in the property. Ample parking available. Food quality and is good. All in all a clean and comfortable experience.

Our recent stay at Great Trails Riverview Resort was a mixed bag of experiences. The location is undoubtedly beautiful, with stunning views of the river and the charming sounds of peafowl in the background. However, we felt that the resort could have done more to create a welcoming atmosphere. Upon arrival, we encountered some issues, including difficulties getting our TV to turn on, which was quite frustrating. On the positive side, our room was spacious and comfortable, providing a nice retreat after a day of exploring. We were looking forward to unwinding with a drink before dinner, but were disappointed to find that there wasn't a dedicated bar area to relax in. When we decided to order a couple glasses of wine, it unfortunately tasted like it had been opened for days and was quite oxidated. To top it off, we were charged 1800 rupees for it, which felt unjust given the quality. On a positive note, the food was quite good and redeeming, but overall, we believe there's potential for the resort to enhance its hospitality and guest experience.

A surprise property which greatly exceeded our expectations. Awesome location. You can just sit and watch the river vennaru flowing accompanied by lovely chirping of various birds. Swimming pool is superb, rooms very spacious with balcony or verandah, beautiful lawns and a drool worthy breakfast buffet with kind and attentive service. Great property overall and i hope they maintain the same spirit

Excellent stay with good food and ambiance. May was too hot to venture outside, but will come back again during winter to experience the cool outside. Rooms are clean and ready when we arrived. Staff was very cordial and cooperative. The gift of rice of Tanjore was touching.

We had a very comfortable stay. The Room was very spacious and staff very cordial. The Food was tasty and healthy. The ambiance was very awesome. Even though the high tea time was over, they accommodated us with nice tea and snacks. Overall highly recommend with the value for money
