Sri jawahar's residency

Heavenly experience, in Palani... It was a blessed experience for me and my family to visit the Palani Murugan Temple on the last Pournami day. When we reached Palani at 3 am, we were assisted by a good auto driver - Shri Jawahar (name is fictitious). He helped us book a room at Jawahar's Residency and Mahal Lodge, which has very good facilities for our stay. The staff of this lodge extended us with amazing hospitality. Their gentle manners were a great relief to our tiredness. The fact that there is ample parking space was also very useful. The most memorable moment of our trip was the Thanga Rath Yatra on Pournami. Despite the unprecedented rush of devotees, we were fortunate enough to have a special darshan in the Defence VIP quota. That divine sight delighted our minds and gave us a spiritual experience. Overall, our Palani trip was very heartwarming and full of joy. We thank Jawahar's Residency and Mahal Lodge for the excellent service and the assistance of the auto driver. We pray that the blessings of Palani Murugan will always be with us. This temple and the experiences here are definitely something that everyone should experience.

Bad experience for me while i stay in Jawahar residency 1.Rooms are not clean. 2.bad odour in rooms. If you want a Good Stay don't choose Jawahar Residency.

not bad, it's ok for average person. better to take temple based rooms for min. charge

Jawahar residency is located Just opposite to Dandapani nilayam. The room is not neat and clean. Bath room is not neat and clean. It is fully stained and unable to use. The toilet is not cleaned, Just water flushed. The health faucet is too stained to touch. Room is also not cleaned properly. All cleaned dust is dumped at the balcony. This hotel is not good to stay. There are good options available in palani. While check in time, a room boy came with me to show the room. He hasn't done anything for me. At the time of check out he and another one room boy were behind me from the first floor reception to road and both were asking for tips. There is no car parking facility is available in this hotel. Here they are not accepting UPI payment or cards, they needs hard cash only. They asked me to go to ATM and make the transaction in cash.

It's located in near the temple toll gate entrance, they have a wedding hall in ground floor, 1,2,3 floors are rooms, there is a good view of the temple... only out side parking...

Very good hotel for a night stay, walkable distance to Foot steps and Elephant path. Spacious rooms, good bed, hot water from 4 am to 10 am. Right next is a restaurant which also belongs to this hotel owner. Cost is less if you book directly. Good view of the hill from hotel room. Loved it.

Located in the prime of palani. Pre Booked room by paying advance on Google pay. Once reached everything was smooth, just wrote the address and signed and got the key. The room was on the 3rd floor. There was some construction going on on one side of the floor. The room was ok ok but kept neat. In the bathroom the tap was leaking. The bed was comfortable. A hot water kettle was provided. Cons: some staff were coming to the room knocking and asking for tip. Even on checking out, one staff member was literally asking for a tip. Restaurant was not attached to the hotel.

I had a very bad experience from the hotel staff, when we entered itself this person ( aged in years but totally rude as a human) started arguing with us. We came for a religious and happy travel but this man ruined the entire peace of mind. We booked through agoda and it was for 2 adults and a child. But he was repeatedly saying it was for 1 person. Atleast he should know how to talk to a customer. Customer is king to any business. Warning to all those who try for an accommodation there. Unfortunately google reviews has to be rated 1 that's why I gave mine as 1. Else it would have been 0. All that happens is for good. We got a super good accommodation in a near by hotel. Very clean and good staffs. May Lord Muruga bless all after all money, material wealth are secondary. Good character, attitude and deeds is that which persists.
