SPOT ON Apple Tree Cottage

As per the price, my experience in this lodge is really good. The location is nice you can directly come here by walking from the station. Rooms are clean.

Service is ok. And can choose to stay if you are planning for a short visit to this temple town. Better choose A/C rooms for a slightly higher price. The non A/C are.very much compromised and do not waste time dealing with it. Both the owner and his manager-son were considerate. And came fwd to offer a free ride to my bus because it is raining.

Worst room ever I stayed without blankets, black screen TV, bed cover not cleaned, pillow covers not cleaned. No response from reception.

This is second time I am staying in this lodge while visiting Palani. PROS: Nearer to Railway Station but far away from temple area. CONS: Person attended my queries on 2nd day morning at the time of checking out, behaved rudely, while talking about terms and conditions in OYO website, which are contrary physically to the actuals at lodge, such as providing soap, towels, etc etc. My Room (no. 111) was not provided with geyser nor supplied with hot water. Mosquitoes are plenty, due to drainage hole was widened for some fault attending work. If u wish to use geyser you will be charged for electricity additionally alongwith airconditioner charges also. Old and torn linens are provided, pillow cover was not washed and saliva stains are there. Surrounding area is congested and the space was reduced, contrary to the photos available in website of OYO. The approach way to lodge is shabby and gives much inconvenience while carrying baggage to room.

worst one....booked for rupees 750 for single room,but it costs below 300 ....no parking facilities...far away 2.5km from palani temple...pathetic....just cheating with photos of rooms...they are entirely different.....

very bad experience. very worst cottage. i don't recommend any one to this place. bad services, open bathroom. what nonsence. my first booking and my last booking also. iam not satisfied.

Don't book any room here, very bad hotel. > Unhygienic > Window glass were broken and can't sleep because of mosquito attack, > Room have TV stand but no TV was there. > No hot water supply > No elevator > No towel stand in bathroom > No soap try etc.... One among the room that I booked here was totally un hygienic, we can't enter to the bath room that much dirty was it , Second room was super , we got another three free guest to stay with us in hotel "RAT" they attacked my bags and damaged all eatables and some of my clothes. Due to this my entire trip was cancelled . So be double check the room before entering to it , otherwise you will be in big trouble

It was a worst experience that I ever tried. Room service is extremely poor and the management haven't done anything. That bed quality is too bad and the blanket they given is partially tired, I hope that was done by rat. There is no any toilet towel as well. Overall it was complete disaster.
