The in-house restaurant offers a solid selection of South Indian specialties - freshly prepared and full of flavor. The breakfast, which is included in the room rate, deserves special mention: it offers both regional and continental options and is a great way to start the day. Whether you're a pilgrim, a group of travelers with classic Royal Enfields (like us) passing through, or visiting for business, Ganpat Grand offers excellent value for money and makes you feel genuinely welcome. I would gladly return anytime.

The person at the reception during the check in was not that supportive. He was showing some kinds of hesitation to our questions about the temple and other related areas. Other than that everything was excellent. The staffs in the restaurant were very helpful. The rooms and cleanliness is average. The best thing about this hotel is the location.

Our stay at The Ganpat Grand, Palani was deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone -- no matter how convenient the location might be. We had a special Dharshan booked at the Palani Murugan Temple at 6 AM , at 24th April 2025. So we had dinner early and went to bed around 9 PM, planning to wake up at 4 AM. But around 10 PM, 23rd April 2025, the hotel reception disturbed us with a rude call, demanding additional payment because we were three people -- my wife, son, and I -- in one room. I had made this booking months ago, clearly mentioning three guests, and it was confirmed without any such issue. Despite calmly explaining this, the staff continued to argue aggressively, shouting and repeating, "When will you pay for your son?" This shocking behavior left us with no peace of mind, and we were forced to cancel our temple darshan and check out in the middle of the night. When we reached the reception to leave, the same staff admitted that the booking was indeed for three people and there had been no error. I called the manager to escalate the matter, hoping for an apology. Shockingly, there was none -- his only concern was collecting the remaining balance (Rs. 3400 after a Rs. 2000 advance). Not a word of regret for the harassment or the disruption caused to our family. To make things worse, we were too exhausted to continue our journey, so we had to rest at a nearby petrol station for the night -- and even the petrol station staff treated us better than the hotel did. From dirty and unhygienic chairs in the reception lobby to zero hospitality and deeply unprofessional conduct, this hotel is nowhere near a true 3-star experience -- not even 2-star level. It completely ruined what was meant to be a peaceful spiritual trip. Avoid The Ganpat Grand at all costs. The location alone cannot make up for the terrible experience we had.

Good Hotel Strategically Located. Clean Rooms. Polite staff. Tariff a bit steep and they can include breakfast for the rate they charge for only for the room.

It's a 1 star hotel ranged. Hotel looks very old. Bed is horrible state definately needs to replaced. Got bitten by bed bugs and mosquitoes. Staffs in the restaurant are friendly and helpful. Reception only 1 staff looks like elderly ***. Ask for iron box was told hotel guest borrowed haven't returned. Worst service. Food on restuarant is expensive the owner could use the money to renovate the hotel with bed bedding and pillows. Bed stinks and bathing towels in horrible state. I will not recommend this hotel.

Apt location to approach temple. Smily front office staffs, nice serving restaurant staffs. Quality of food is exceptional. Perfectly maintained good rooms with amenities. Very safe to park our vehicle. Little bit costly on the tariff part. Divine hotel in front of gods temple. this is the perfect stay preference for me always.

"I had a wonderful stay here! The rooms were immaculately clean, and the staff were extremely polite and courteous. The location was perfect, being very close to the temple. WiFi connection was provided throughout my stay, which was a great convenience.||One area for improvement is the common bathroom downstairs, which is shared between in-house dining and external visitors. However, the bathrooms within the rooms were exceptionally clean.||Overall, a great experience!"

I had a truly awful experience at this hotel. The bathroom was disgusting, with a terrible, lingering smell that made it unbearable to use. The room was not clean, and it was clear that hygiene was not a priority. To make matters worse, the room keys weren't working properly, forcing me to repeatedly go back to the front desk for assistance. The staff was unhelpful and provided terrible service, adding to my frustration. With dirty rooms, a stinky bathroom, malfunctioning keys, and poor customer service, I would never stay here again. I highly recommend finding a different place to stay.
