Grand Padappai Residency

Stayed one night, checked in at night but they asked to check out by next day 12noon. It is a normal hotel charged like a star hotel, no break fast because doesnt have proper kitchen. Rooms not ventilated heavy smoking smell. Would not recommend for family, ok for bachelors if want to pay high can stay. I paid Rs.5040 for me my wife and son.

Stay was really nice, rooms are well maintained. Food tastes really good.

I had a bad experience at grand padappai residency. When I arrived, the reception staff seemed unwelcoming and gloomy. The room service was poor. The bathroom wasn't clean. On the day of vacating the room, I placed an order for beverages and water bottle. Since, the delivery of the beverages were taking longer than the usual, I called the bartender to cancel the beverages and provide only the water bottle. Due to the bartender sub par listening and hearing ability she lost my message and sent the order to the vacated room. While I'm on my travel, she called and questioning me why didn't I inform her to cancel the order before vacating the room. How absurd mindset. When I communicated to cancel the order where was her mind? Her poor cognitive skills leads to inadequate comprehension and responsivenes. She asked me to pay the amount of Rs 300/- otherwise it would be deducted from her salary. What a crap, Finally I ended up paying Rs 300/- without consuming the beverages. I don't recommend this place. The staff isn't amicable rather rude while conversing with us . I had unpleasant experience with this hotel. My response to the owner is, my check in date was on 20th November 2024. As per your requirement, I have already attached the copy of my beverages bill.

The room service is not at all good. Nor the policy on serving liquor at room. The toilet flush goes off on its own and I had to clean the pot myself.

Excellent service and one of the gem Mr. Robin is very kind and helpful at front desk .

Lavina the front office receptionist was very supportive and helpful. The restaurant service was very poor and prices for the food were very steep.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night and my friends came to visit me during the daytime and hotel manager keep calling to the room and force to send them back even they in the room for 3-4 hours, I told them they are just a visitor not to come for stay, and the manager was force us to book another room for no reason and I told them if that the case I ll pay extra amount for visit, but they did not listen to me and my friends left and I paid almost the quit bit money for their visit, after some time manager came to my room and requested to for my passport for xerox, since he is manager I handed over my valuable passport to him but he didn't return my passport then I went to reception to collect my passport but he refused to give my passport, he was told to come back in the morning for passport collection, I'm not comfortable because there are multiple visas for my business, I'm not sure what he ll do with my passport, since I'm was stayed in different types of hotel but I never had this bad experience, when I'm asking for the reason he was telling repeatedly that he can only give our passport in the morning only, I was agree to pay double charge for my room as deposit but he didn't agree and he was using very aggressive attitude and bad words then when I argue he was came to me to hit I have the proof of the video for the communication and I recommend not to stay in this hotel and this very unsafe for internationals and tourists

Poor hospitality. Front desk had devil may care attitude towards guests. Besides they treat complimentary breakfast as charity. Negligence at its best. Poor room service. Cancelled my stay after a night's stay and shifted to a better hotel.
