We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, vintage room bungalow, restaurant, chapel and services at this place. It's definitely a must-visit destination. However, we encountered a minor issue: a rat sound that emanated from the wooden roof during the night. Unfortunately, it disrupted our sleep and made it difficult for us to relax. Addressing this rat problem would make the stay even more appealing.

A place with very great service and a big space to spend time. It is available in an affordable price. A very organised lounge, kind staffs and a good hospitality was maintained by them.

Nice place to stay with family, if you love flora and fauna, then this is the place. Spacious rooms, vintage look cottages, children's play area, delicious food. The only thing is no room heaters will be provided, which makes temperature drops to very low night times.6 am some sirun comes from near by temple and husky dog back side of the property houls , it was a scary experience first day, second day I found out it's a dog

Good place very badly managed. The reception is usually, at worst, pretentious behavior, misleading commitments, and attitude issues. Lengthy food menu, but usually, items are not available (apparently on that day only - and this happened to us thrice). Don't, opt for it unless you have no other option and you don't mind spoiling your day arguing with illogical billing staff!

We stayed here in June.The overall stay experience is good.The rooms were neat and bed spreads were good.It offers good scenic views.service could be better.

It is one of the best places to stay at Ooty. The property is located in the heart of the town. It is just opposite to the race course. Market is nearby. They have good parking area. They serve coffee/tea and snacks to the rooms. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served in the dining area next to the reception. They've standard rooms, deluxe rooms, gate cottage, upper cottage, lower cottage with different price ranges. Please call up them to choose your room type. I traveled with two senior citizens and two kids with age less than 10. So I took upper cottage. It was very spacious and comfortable. Two bedrooms with attached restrooms, a living room and veranda. Restrooms are clean and tidy. They've renovated the rooms and bathrooms. Beautiful garden outside the upper cottage. Walking around the property is blissful. They've fixed menu for breakfast like idlys, dosa varieties, Uthappa(must try), poori(must try). You can order it after reaching dining area. It will be served hot from 7:30am to 10:30am. Lunch and dinner have to be ordered at least 45mins earlier. The food tastes like home made. Kids and senior citizens enjoyed it. People are very friendly and polite. The water heater will be switched ON between 5:30am to 10:30am. If you need hot water, you can give a call from the room to switch ON the water heaters. All sightseeing places are nearby. Botanical gardens, Ooty lake, bus stand and railway stations are close by. I recommend to stay here and enjoy the nature and climate. Thank you very much YWCA team, Ooty.
