Disappointing stay, definitely not worth it. I visited Ooty after 10 years, and booked this based on reviews. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a bad decision. I had booked a standard room for Rs 2900 per night, but the reality was far from what was shown online. The room was tiny, unclean, and poorly maintained. The mattress was dirty, the curtains had stains, and there were water leakage marks on the walls and wardrobe. The staircase leading to the room was so narrow it felt unsafe, and the bathroom door was so low that I hit my head twice. The location is another major drawback. It's far from the city center, with no restaurants or transport nearby. Ordering food online is the only option, but getting to the homestay itself means walking through a long, dirty village road, which is not ideal, especially at night. Luckily, when I arrived, a premium room was available, so upgraded for Rs 1000. It was better than the standard room but still had no heaters, and no hair dryers, which are a must in Ooty's cold weather. The only grace was the caretaker, Mr. Abdul. He was incredibly kind, lent his own hair dryer, made us a great breakfast, and even helped plan an itinerary and arrange a cab. But even with his hospitality, decided to leave after one night. If you are coming with family and don't have your own vehicle, this place is a definite no. Even if you do, I wouldn't recommend it. The standard room is a disaster, and the premium rooms aren't worth the price due to the location and ambiance. You're better off booking a hotel in the city center where you'll actually enjoy your stay.

The room is excellent and well maintained. Impeccable service by Mr. Abdul (caretaker of the resort). Perfect for couples/families/bachelors with wide range of rooms and facilities. We got a room for five at a reasonable price including complimentary breakfast. A decent amount of parking space is there and the overall experience was pleasant.

The 643 Holiday Homes is a hidden gem in Ooty. The rooms are spotlessly clean and provide a serene ambiance, perfect for relaxation. The balcony offers stunning views, making it an ideal spot to unwind with a cup of coffee after a day of exploring. Its prime location is close to major attractions like Ooty Lake, a variety of excellent restaurants, the bus stand, and the station. The staff are polite, attentive, and ensure a hassle-free stay. I highly recommend this property for families and travelers looking for comfort and convenience.

Its not a resort. Its a personal house. I have been in a duplex room. I don't like duplex room. Bed sheet and blanket is not properly cleaned. Location is ok. Not bad. Breakfast is only one item. I don't like it. Room is Expensive compare to quality.

Overall a good place to stay. Very near to the lake, Ooty bus stop & railway station. The caretaker was very helpful. Breakfast complementary. Rest you will have to depend upon Swiggy/ Zomato.

Very nice hotel with polite host. Walkable from the bus stand which makes it a big plus View from rooms is good since it overlooks a park Easily serviced by swiggy/zomato for food which makes up for the lack of a restaurant. Breakfast is homely and good

Quaint little holiday homes. The rooms were clean and adequately furnished. The service was very good and helpful. The location was about 1 km from the bus station and easy to reach by car.
