We also enjoyed the small bonfire they arranged in the evening, which made for a lovely experience under the stars. The beds were very comfortable, and the overall ambiance was peaceful and relaxing.||The in-house restaurant served a good variety of dishes, from local South Indian flavors to North Indian and continental cuisines. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive, with fresh fruits, hot idlis, dosas, and a live omelette counter. The staff was courteous and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.

Had a pretty good stay with Sterling Ooty Elkhill. Rooms and facilities were excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Always courteous and check-in and check out processes were very prompt and smooth. Big shout out to reception team. Good place for families travelling with children as they have a great play area for kids to hang out with parents. Very close to Ooty town and easily accessible by road.

Had a wonderful stay at Sterling Ooty Elk Hill. Location and service of the property is top notch and if you're lucky you can catch a fantastic sunset from the lobby or the terrace. They have the most polite and helpful staff; will specially mention Ms. Divyashree who went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and shared a similar professional behaviour with other guests too! Food is good; not bad not great. Rooms are spacious; good value for money. Overall, a great choice if you're looking for a comfortable stay, away from the chaos, in Ooty.

We had a wonderful staycation at Sterling Ooty Elk Hill! The location is absolutely beautiful and very convenient--just a short distance from the city center, yet nestled on a hill, offering stunning views of the town and even occasional horse rides passing by. It's the perfect blend of peace and accessibility. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, always making sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, especially the South Indian selection, which was authentic and flavorful. However, it would be great to see more variety in breads and fresh fruits to round it out. We had no trouble with parking--there's plenty of space available, which was a big plus. We booked the Privilege Suite, and while the view from the room was lovely, the room itself felt a bit small and outdated. It was quite congested for a suite and could definitely use a bit of a refresh. Overall, it was a memorable experience with great hospitality and a beautiful setting. With a few upgrades to the room, this place would be perfect. Would definitely recommend it for a peaceful Ooty getaway!
