Sanctuary Boutique Hotel Ooty

I've stayed here for 2 days, located very near to botanical gardens. Enough parking space Clean and new rooms with all hoistery kept in order with bed and curtains. Proper restrooms with hot water. Will charge extra for heater as it's a small property with 10 rooms. Have a good garden area near kitchen. Service of staff and Manager Manoj extremely polite folks. Provided hot water and tea/coffee ontime and less price usually high in other hotels. Most important property owner Poornima Ma'm was kind enough to heed my request during booking. Only gap they charge extra for bon-fire but can be shared with other visitors also. Overall they are excellent and I recommend !!!

Very good place to stay and I prefer this place for the next visit also. This hotel is very near to botanical garden and the major tourist attractions and city. Very calm and budget friendly hotel. And they don't have really enough parking for all the guests but manageable.

Stayed here for a couple of days during Dec24. I must say it was a great experience. The location is very close to the botanical garden. There are plenty of restaurants close by. Rooms were very neat, and parking space is available. There is a nice outdoor courtyard for campfires (additional cost). Roads leading up to the hotel are a bit narrow, though. It's a crowded neighborhood, so it felt pretty safe to travel around at night time. I would suggest you call them directly to get a better price.

I Stayed in this hotel for two days. Very convenient to access all you want in Ooty. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Especially excellent room service conducted by Ram who is very polite and helpful. He is extraordinary on his job. I love the way he makes tea. This place is recommended to who like to explore the city. Congratulations. Keep up the good work.

The owner's personal involvement and commitment to guest satisfaction are evident, adding a welcoming and attentive touch to the overall experience. She is readily available by phone to address any issues and follow up to ensure guests' needs are met. The staff, especially Mr. Manoj, were warm, attentive, and helpful in making the stay memorable. Having a responsible staff member consistently available at the reception would provide added support, but even as it stands, the team's dedication is clear. The room was spacious and well-maintained, creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere. A dedicated water heater in each room ensures hot water even in Ooty's cool weather--a much-appreciated feature. Notifying guests about specific heater usage timings would streamline access, but this amenity adds great comfort overall. Additionally, a small separator between the washing area and the commode in the restroom could enhance convenience by keeping the space dry. The room includes a bedside night lamp; however, a softer nightlight would further improve the ambiance. While the landline phone could use a device upgrade for easier communication, this is a minor point given the overall excellent service. The complimentary South Indian breakfast was a delightful start each morning and served on time. While a slight odor in some of the fried items could have been improved by using fresher oil, the breakfast was generous and satisfying. For other meals, nearby restaurants are easily accessible, also available on Swiggy and Zomato, and the hotel's picturesque backyard offers a lovely setting to enjoy a meal, coffee, or simply relax. For food ordered outside, the staff provide cutlery immediately upon request. Providing more ergonomic backyard chairs would make this area even more comfortable for lounging. With its outstanding location, impeccable cleanliness, cozy ambiance, and responsive staff, the Sanctuary Boutique Hotel is an excellent choice in Ooty. The lovely setting and thoughtful amenities make it a standout stay for couples, families, and solo travelers alike. For anyone visiting Ooty, I highly recommend this hotel as a gem that offers fantastic value, comfort, and a true sense of hospitality.

This is the best I found in budget. Washrooms are very clean. Best hotel close to all amenities. 10min walk to center of Ooty where you find all hotels and shopping area.

Worst service ever..not hot water system work properly..bad food service..not recommended ever..
