This place is one of the most scenic place I have ever stayed ! The hosts are so amazing ! They cook fresh homemade food with love and garnish with seasonings from their own garden ! Amazing food ! Spl mention to chef. Allen .....I loved everything they served from roasted chicken to their scrumptious desserts ! I was so in love with this place ! It felt like home apart from home

Great place to stay. Located in VIP area hence very calm and peaceful. Property manager and staff are very cool and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and very spacious. Value for money.

Such a beautiful colonial style bungalow! The property was so beautiful that we didn't want to come back. We loved the hospitality, the vibes of the place and everything about it was perfect! Best place for group travellers, family and also couples.

We had such a bad experience with saffron stays last weekend.we did a last minute checkin and the place we booked seemed not kid friendly(which they refunded fully). We booked two nights and had to cancel one nught because our daughter(3yrs) had food poison suddenly and was vomiting continuously at the premises only. Though she was vomiting and they did know we were taking her to hospital inspite of heavy rains and she wasnt eating, the refused to make a full refund, they refused to make full refund even on GST, we didnt take ur service then why should we pay you GST? . We understand cancellation policy and everything but still being in the hospitality industry and not having empathy towards customers is pathetic.i had to have back to back calls and they would make another person call me everytime to communicate instead of one person communicating. We had 2 kids(3yr and 1 yr old) and was struggling. The only good thing was helper krishna who guided was to a good pharmacy and hospital nearby, he helped with room heaters too. Its the bare minimum they did. The place is so silent and unhappening and would never suggest for guests with kids. The breakfast was soooo limited for the price point(idly,dhal chutney, eggs , bread, butter and jam) mot even a single fruit served. It fell short of all expectations . It would never book them again and would never suggest too. The place was clean and well maintained . But you would feel very lonely.

It's a property with old vintage charm. Neat and clean. Food is delicious. Stuffs are helpful.

Had a very unpleasant experience with Saffron Stays recently. We had booked two nights in the property for a birthday celebration. On grounds of a medical emergency we had to cancel 1 day prior. After multiple discussions and follow ups, the team refused to provide any refund and only agreed to rescheduling one night, that too with rescheduling fees. This, after sending them prescriptions supporting the emergency. No body seemed to be bothered that we were trying to speak to them while we were unwell or the booking was for a birthday - the team's sole objective was to ensure that they are recovering as much penalty as they possibly can. Needless to say, this will be the last time we book with Saffron Stays :)

This is a heritage bungalow which is just 2.5km from Ooty town. It's well maintained inside but they haven't used it to its full potential. They can do a lot of gardening and other things which makes the property even more attractive. We only had breakfast and it's decent though.. The only thing I hated is that they have kept the dogs kennel near to the kitchen and both the kennel and dogs were not at all cleaned and it smelled stinky with the dog poop inside the kennel .. There were flies all over the premises. Overall a pleasant experience except the mentioned above. The service was also very good.

This is one of the best home stays i have stayed in across the world. A quiet and calm serene place in the middle of the town. Amazing host and staff.
