One of the worst experiences -- definitely not worth the money. No drinking water was provided. There's no microwave or stove, which makes it very inconvenient for longer stays. Access to the villa is extremely difficult, with a rough, rocky path. The location on Google Maps points to a locked gate they refuse to open; the only way in is through the Deccan Park side.

Rainbreeze Cottage offers a charming Ooty escape, nestled a little away from the city bustle, providing a truly authentic hill station ambience. The cottage itself is ideal for families or groups of friends, offering ample space and a welcoming, house-like feel perfect for gatherings. The highlight was undoubtedly the provision for a small bonfire, creating cozy evenings under the Ooty stars - an experience we thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms were well-maintained and comfortable, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, a minor point to note is the cold flooring, which might be a bit of a surprise for guests not accustomed to Ooty's climate. Perhaps providing rugs or warmer flooring options could enhance the comfort, especially during colder months. Despite this small detail, Rainbreeze Cottage provides excellent value for those seeking a peaceful retreat with a genuine Ooty vibe. The serene surroundings, coupled with the bonfire facility and spacious accommodation, make it a strong contender for a memorable stay with loved ones. The slightly off-city location lends itself to tranquility, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Ooty.

Very very very poor in service. Rooms are not maintaining well. Water heater not working properly. There is noticed that some hidden. Upstairs' door launch is technically opened. Not suitable for family. There is chance to come any strangers in to the house any time by using this way while we will go for site seeing or during night. I added that video and photos too. No one are there for assistance us.

Disadvantage First disadvantage, It is located out of the city. One of the worst ever hospitality I have seen in my whole life. No proper welcome from the management. They asked us to wait for 20-30 minutes after we arrived there. No hot water (Drinking) available at all. We spent 2 nights. So they charged around 190 for two days tea. Its a really worst. Complimentary breakfast is coming far away from the spot. So on our final day, the breakfast came at 11.10 AM only. Owing to that we had missed couple of sight seeing scheduled on that day. Manager Not even showed his face when we stayed there. But at vacating from there he suddenly showed up his face to us to collect the remaining money from us for tea and heater. Advantages. Good place, Rooms are OK to live with.

Even though the cottage is little away from city, ambience is good for big family get together & relaxing, very calm place & their homely food is a plus, in addition they arranged camp fire as an extra entertainment, overall it is a positive experience for us

Recently I and our friends visited this cottage and stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. 1) On our arrival at the cottage which is around 11.45 AM, we were asked to stay out since rooms were not ready to occupy. there is no proper place to wait, we all waited on the lawn till the time they cleaned our rooms. 2) There is no provision to boil the water, which is highly expected in the hill station. by the way, getting normal water from the cottage people is another tedious task. they gave us water only at the night time around 9 PM. 3) We had given 2 rooms one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Geyser which on the first floor not even worked on the first day of stay. from second-day water flow is very minute. 4) They even charged for the "Tea" service. 5) we had given complimentary breakfast but we asked them to provide only dosa but they still provided dosa and Pongal, in turn, we had a shortage of dosa and all Pongal are left unopened. Overall verdict: Poor hospitality and some can feel they are long from ooty city.
