Excellent stay, rooms were very comfortable and neat, staffs are very friendly mainly Santhosh was very kind and gave us whatever we need. Will definitely recommend to others the Primrose property slaps. The view was the best. We ordered dinner for both the days and it was very satisfying. Overall worth the money. Might improve the breakfast menu.

Loved the whole stay and experience at this place. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The views were great as well! Lovely cafeteria with such comforting home cooked meals. Add this to your list in Ooty stays. Definitely one of the best!

The property is located in one of the best locations we ever stayed. The nature and scenic Beauty is truly amazing. But then this is the only thing good about this place. The place is managed locally by few guys who have no idea what they are doing. Hygiene and cleanliness is a major concern. Plates and cups are broken, they don't clear the plates at night and we observed rats from the tea garden eating on the scrap foods from the same plates and dishes. Breakfast is included with the package, which is very basic of bread , butter, idli and dosa. The menu dsnt change much each day.. sometime they add Upma or Pongal. But the food is still manageable. The only concerning factor that the management should look into the service quality, hygiene and cleanliness of the place.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY. COME AND GET UPSET AT YOUR OWN RISK. The property initially impresses with its stunning location and breathtaking views--something that truly gives off a great vibe. However, that's where the positives end, and what follows is more of a horror story than a relaxing stay. The real issue lies in the complete lack of responsibility and coordination from the management, which becomes clear through the poor service and mismanagement. Simple requests like room cleaning are ignored; even after repeated follow-ups over two days, basic cleanliness wasn't ensured. The caretakers are indifferent, show no courtesy, and fail to inform guests about unavailability of services. The food is another disappointment--average at best, with breakfast being particularly bad. There's hardly any variety, and the few items that are available disappear quickly, forcing guests to scramble. Essentials like tissues and spoons are either missing or handed over in unhygienic condition, making it hard for hygiene-conscious guests to cope. Service is painfully slow, and staff rarely check in for orders--you have to go to them. Even basic amenities like toilet rolls are not replenished unless you keep asking, and even then, you might be told they've run out and couldn't get more from the market. In-room dining is equally unreliable. An order of chicken momos in the evening was cancelled minutes later due to staff shortage and apparent unwillingness to prepare it. On top of that, the portion sizes are not satisfying for the price, leaving guests feeling shortchanged. While some blame lies with untrained and under-supervised staff, it ultimately points back to poor management. When a property charges a premium, guests expect services to match--but this place fails to deliver on almost every front beyond the view.

One of the most amazing stay in ooty. The view from the rooms was the best and we received the best service. The food was great considering the cost. The property is well maintained. The plants, flowers and chirping birds sets a peaceful atmosphere for a much needed break from city life.

The property and cottages are beautiful, with stunning views of mountains, tea estates, and breathtaking sunrises. It's a peaceful and calm place, perfect for a relaxing getaway. However, some small issues like non-functioning lights were a bit inconvenient, and we were too tired to get them fixed at night. The biggest letdown was the food -- both dinner and breakfast buffet were quite mediocre. Also, morning service was disappointing; we requested tea at 7 AM but were told it was too early, and even after asking for just cups to make it ourselves, nothing was provided. Still, if you're looking for a serene location with great views, it's worth giving this place a try.

The stay was very pleasant! If you want to stay amidst the mountains and more importantly, the tea plantations - Planters punch is place! Anand was really very helpful from the start! Pleasant personality and always ready for help on a single call.. will definitely come back again!
