Magic Mist Resort - A Boutique Resort at Ooty Center

Here's an honest review. The place is very terrible. The room's were atrocious, the sheets were dirty with yellow and black stains. There were stones all over the wall and the toilets were barely sanitary. When you enter the room there is this really strong chemical oder which I don't think is good. The place where the hotel is located is very nice and the parking is good there is enough space.

Worst stay. Rooms are not clean and old. Don't book here if you are planning to come as family. I had to search for a new accomodation after seeing the room. He didn't return my advance amount as well. The pictures they have is old and not current one's.

Room wasn't clean. Hot water wasn't coming and cold water tap was broken. Toilet seat was broken. Towels weren't provided on first day. Drinking water wasn't available and glasses were dirty. Only scenery was good

The resort fell far short of expectations. The rooms were cramped and had an unpleasant odor. Refer to the shared photos for visuals. Limited staff availability was notable, and no restaurant or breakfast options were offered. While the tea garden in front of the hotel provided a nice view, it was inaccessible due to being private property. Entry and exit were challenging, especially for inexperienced drivers, and unfortunately, my vehicle sustained scratches on the premises by some party-lover guests. The absence of any security personnel exacerbated the situation. Overall, it is not recommended for families, but it is possibly suitable for bachelor groups. Not to forget the broken stairs. Hotel is situated in a nice location. We got nice room with clean bathroom. It's having sufficient and decent parking space in front of the hotel,But need to improve the entrance slope bcoz most of the vehicle's were difficult to pass that slope. Otherwise overall nice stay. Value for money.

They didn't provide the room that we booked and the toilet and surroundings were not at all cleaned, didn't feel very safe either (with a family), maybe okay for bachelors but not worth more than 1000-1500. The toilet window surely has not seen water in like a year

Good place to stay for family. Located at hill view point. Sufficient car parking. Rooms and washroom were clean. 24 x 7 Hot water available. Overall good experience. There was a Lovely member to welcome & entertain us ( Tommy - Dog's name ).

Our stay in the East facing Rooms with picturesque view of tea plantation was fantastic. Room was very neat and clean. Linen were fresh. Hot water available all round with switches in the room itself. No complimentary breakfast. But, coffee/tea would be served promptly. We enjoyed the stay.
