La Address Retreat - The Heritage Homestay

I came to LA Address Retreat in Ooty seeking a change of scenery, and it absolutely exceeded all my expectations! The warmth and friendliness of the hosts truly made me feel at home. A special shout-out to Robin and the team for preparing the most excellent and tasty food throughout my stay - every meal was a delight. I completely fell in love with this place and honestly wasn't ready to leave. I'll be dearly missing all the loving people and the adorable pets that added so much joy to my time here. Without a doubt, I will be visiting LA Address Retreat again. It's more than just a retreat; it's an experience!

We had an amazing stay at La Address Retreat! The cottage was beautiful, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts and staff were incredibly helpful and attentive--even during odd hours, they were just a call away and always eager to assist. They truly go above and beyond to make sure guests, including children, are comfortable and well taken care of. One thing that really stood out was how professionally the host and team handle situations where guests may become noisy or disruptive after drinking. They maintain a peaceful environment without being intrusive, ensuring everyone's experience remains enjoyable. Hats off to the La Address team for their patience in handling uncontrollable guests. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a serene, well-managed retreat.

Excellent property with peaceful ambience and very good hospitality. Enjoyed our stay at the property. Loved the environment. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Special mention to Robin anna and team for the excellent food and service provided during our stay. It's a home away from home in the lap of nature. There is a beautiful garden and kids play area too which my son enjoyed a lot. Loved the pets too in the property. The place looks straight out of heaven in the evenings especially. A beautiful vintage charm with modern comforts for our convenience. Will definitely visit again.

Sharmila and I arrived at La Address Retreat on April 26, 2025. Before our arrival, Sharmila had searched for a place where tranquility meets the climate of Ooty. She decided, "This is definitely the idyllic retreat one always cherishes." We reached Ooty by 10:30 AM, but the check-in time was at 12. The host, a young man named Amareendra, kindly reassured us, saying, "Don't worry; come in. I can provide you with another room to rest until your room is ready." His friendly words relieved us amidst the bustling mini-town of Ooty. It took us just five minutes to reach La Address, as it was only 2 km away from the bus stand. Amareendra welcomed us warmly and introduced us to Mixy, the youngest of the three cats at the retreat. "She is our most unpredictable, mischievous, and mysterious cat," he said. Mixy, a colorful mix of different shades, wriggled playfully in his hands. Even though breakfast time had passed, nothing was impossible for Robin, the cook; he served us idli and upma within ten minutes. Shortly after, the other host, Antara, greeted us and shared various intriguing stories about the meaning behind "La, not the," in the property's name. We soon settled into our cozy room, and after a while, took a leisurely stroll before resting on one of the many chairs scattered across the compound garden. Surrounded by teapois and greenery, we immersed ourselves in reading, accompanied by the soothing sounds of chirping birds. One of the cats kept us company, frequently climbing onto our laps and meowing in many different ways. Robin's dinner amazed us once again, as we experienced a delightful range of flavors throughout the meal. We found it hard to leave La Address Retreat the following day, unable to extend our stay because another family was scheduled to arrive. Amareendra and Antara bid us farewell, and we promised to return soon. They made us feel more like friends than guests, creating an atmosphere of genuine equality where it felt like, "Here, no one is unequal."

We stayed at La Address Retreat Homestay, Ooty, for 3 days starting April 30. I was there with my wife and two young kids (6 and 3 years old), and we stayed in the Heritage Classic room. We arrived around 2 PM and received a warm and friendly welcome from the hosts. The homestay is in a prime location--close to everything, yet peacefully tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ooty. The service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff were polite, attentive, and made us feel at home. The food served was delicious and truly homely. We had a wonderful experience and I would strongly recommend this place to families looking for a comfortable and quiet stay in Ooty.

Stayed here with my family n pet. The place is nice . However the the breakfast needs improvement. Milk for kids and tea/coffee is not included in the breakfast package and is chargeable. It should be included within the package. Presently the food charges are overpriced for the quality being provided. Zomato is available as an option. Also in the Grand room the second bed is on the floor though it appears as a normal bed in thr photo n video. The same is clarified.However I would like to state that the owners provided us with alternate hotel despite being late in the evening. The couple handling the unit are very positive.

Had an amazing time here! Where to start from...be it the aesthetically designed rooms, the outside space, service and behaviour of staff, and last but not the least, the hosts! They are such lovely and helpful people, very accommodating and great company. They have maintained the homestay very well.

Property takes you a flash back in the time where you can enjoy good air, green garden and surrounding. However room comes with comfy bed and hygienic bathroom. You can enjoy with solo or with family. I enjoyed my 2 night stay. Thank you.
