Hotel Sunpark Grand

The rooms are well quality and neat.The customer service provided by them is highly satisfied. The price range of rooms is moderate. But parking space is available infront of it but they provided parking space in other sunpark hotel a little nearby. Overall the rooms and services is well good enough

The service is just pathetic. The hotel receptionist is absolutely uncooperative and just doesn't value the customers. The management is super arrogant and treat the guests as if they are doing a favour on us on requesting them for any toiletries or room service requests. The TV doesn't work and there is literally a power cut thrice during the day. Although Wi-Fi connection was promised as the rooms are in the basement, the Wi-Fi just doesn't work! Overall experience was just pathetic. Would not recommend anyone to stay there as it will be a vacation spoiler, nor would I prefer visiting that place again.

Decent rooms in city centre. Valet parking is available. Rooms are neat clean and compact good enough for a family of four. Receptionist and care taker is a professional and he takes care of every trifle need of the customers. Good Hospitality gesture by employees is very nice.

Hotel is good room is clean but room service is very poor when we ask with them to clean the room they said to that cleaners are not there.we requested them still they did not provide any room service.accept this over all hotel is good stuffs are good .

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel and I chose it for the view, peace & quiet and reasonable price. The approach road is through a narrow winding road for about 500 metres and one needs to be watchful to take the correct turn from the main road. The hotel is situated on a small hill and the deluxe rooms have a magnificent view of Ooty and the sorounding hills. The staff is friendly but a little slow on service, however they provide most things. Ample & safe parking is abundantly available. Most importantly, piping hot water is available 24 hours. The hotel is well spread out offering it's guests privacy and peace. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and have all the basic amenities to make your stay comfortable. The hotel staff can arrange liquor on your request.

Here is my experience with the stay!! Advantage: Hotel is in the city and can easily reach tourist destinations easily! DisAdvantages: a) We haven't received the cleaned room. b) Had used towel, used shampoo and soap. c) They only clean the room if you handover the key. Since I had valuables I requested them to clean the room at evening and they denied it. d) Since plastic is banned in ooty, you can get water in flask. However you need to go to reception atleast 5 times a day to request water. e) Hot water is only available two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening. f) They have no telephone which we can use to contact them! For any request you will have to reach the reception. g) there is no lift in this hotel. Despite all these disadvantages they are very proud of their worst service!

Very much accessible on the road property, they also offer cottages a bit expensive and off the road. Neat and clean with good room service. Try avoiding those basement rooms as they are unusually cold and NO hot water 24hrs. Hot water only on scheduled time from 7 to 9 am. Hopefully not the case with G.floor and first floor rooms. Wardrobe, electric kettle, clean bed spreads and pillows, wooden floor, 3d wallpaper all aesthetically cool. Feels like a queen sized bed with spring mattress. Many of the installed lights do not work, though. Clean & spacious washrooms. 2 different rooms, 1 with good space and other a little narrower. Check which suits you the best.

Rooms are good. Location is good.Inhouse parking is not available, need to park on roadside.
