Hotel Sapphire Grand Ooty

Currently the Hotel is in under renovation. Rooms wall, bathroom doors, cupboards are contains fungus. It seems they are doing changes. It's a basic hotel with less amenities. On room they will provide only towels apart from nothing. For Hot water you need to go to restaurant. Location wise it's walkable to commercial road. Staff behaviour is good.

The rooms are clean and spacious and the location is easily accessible in the town. The breakfast buffet is good with variety of options. They also have in-house restaurant which we can order from the rooms. The cost of deluxe room was 5600 for 2 days which was on costlier side. It might reduce during off season. Good parking space and peaceful stay. Overall good experience people can choose this stay.

Nothing is great in this hotel very bad in condition very old property everything here is outdated old bed sheets old towel toilets are also very old only good thing is staff we booked 4 rooms here for 12 persons and they charged 6k per night which was really not worth it. PLEASE avoid staying here unless and until u don't get any hotel and this is the last place u get.

Very bad experience with the property. It is very old hotel without any maintenance . Cost is too high as well. It is not upto the mark as per price. Also never ask for the cab at reception desk . They will do wrong promise and your trip will be vanished.

We had a nice experience. We visited it on Sunday night that's why we got the room at a good rate with complimentary breakfast.. The rooms are clean, 24 hrs hot water. Service is good, staff is polite. We got a complementary breakfast which was the best I ever had.. tasty idli sambar, upma was really the best which was made from roasted sooji, tea and coffee were also great. We were happy while doing the check out with best experience.. Thank you so much

Very nice and clean rooms. The staff is extremely well behaved and cooperative.

Property located 2 km from Bus Stand, 0.8 km from Charring Cross which is kind of city center. Considering its a 2* property, it is well maintained, though some fixtures need replacement, but nothing bothering. Hot water available only for 2 hrs, but not consistent during these 2 hrs since it's managed centrally. Had to request few times to make it available in room. Complimentary breakfast available, however not much options to choose from. Idli, bread, tea is fixed. You will end up paying for coffee, omlette etc. Staff is helpful. They arranged auto in quick time, cleaned the room on demand and changed the bed spread when requested.

It's not suite, it's lodge. If you have expectation above standards, refrain from considering this. I advise property owner to renovate, bathroom was really horrible, no proper water dispense from faucet, no shower, overall i felt not worth visiting along With family.
