Hotel Lakeview

Best hotel I have ever stayed in my life as per value for your money and that's saying a lot considering the amount of riding me and my wife do. Amazing food, awesome location and services. Best staff and just all in all the best. Few points if you are planning , note that morning and night there will be a rush at the restaurant so order in advance by phone. Using the fireplace was really the best thing for us in 4 nights we stayed every night we used it.

Everything was well-organized, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. The hospitality was exceptional, and the beautiful surroundings made our experience even more memorable. We genuinely appreciated all the effort put into making our visit enjoyable.Special thanks to Mr.Robin for his support and guidance throughout our stay.

Excellent property, delicious food and almost a 5-star experience. I am not very sure why there are bad reviews on Google about the restaurant food of this property. They are really delicious and good in quantity. Because of the reviews, we almost decided to have our food outside but then thought of give it a try. And whoa! It was so good that all the three days we had our breakfast and dinner there. The property is huge with some 200 cottages and they all are really spacious. The house keeping is extraordinary; seldom I found hotels, even 5 star properties to provide you 2 liters of water free of cost everyday. They even change soaps and towels everyday, that also without asking. This place is little pricey but if you want an almost 5 star experience in Ooty, choose Lakeview.

This is a 3 star hotel (resort) in Ooty. This is located very near to boathouse (nilgiri lake) in ooty. Rooms and service are great. And the view is breathtaking. Everyday room cleaning is available. Room cost per night goes from 4k to 6k. Breakfast is never included in the room cost. There is a restaurant in the reception area from where food can be ordered to rooms. Food is good and at a very reasonable cost. Only issues are that there can be a lot of insects in evening or night time; and hot water Geyser only works when room key is plugged in (no central hot water system); and the road leading to the entrance to this resort is very narrow.

It's a decent place to stay near the city center (Around Ooty lake) Big property with fairly managed rooms & restaurants. You may experience a delay in service on peak days as no of guests could be significantly higher than the staff available. Food/taste needs much improvement. Don't expect a 'Lake view' as the name suggests. Be careful with the wardrobe doors as the designing is poor & it may be struck to your feet while opening. Overall okay~good experience.

I would like to recommend Hotel Lake View for people who like to stay in Ooty. Nearby to Bus Stand & Railway Station (within 3 km). The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. People looking for private space can book Villa/Executive Suits. Special mention for in-house Restaurant where I like the food.

Not recommended. At the cost we have booked the hotel is too. Much high,they are giving us peanuts in it. Its old property and not cleaned well. The bedroom size is only 10*10.we had booked the villas type rooms. The floor is not cleaned also bathroom. All stickyness on floor. Also they dont have basic manners to talk with customers. Staff is very rude and arrogant. While booking we are 7adults and three kids booked three villas. But not much space to accommodate their. And also they dont provide Bedding's they charge extra money. One small sofa 2.5*5.5 at hall. They consider it as a bed normal person can not sleep their. The lake view is only name. U can not have one feet of view to the lake from hotel. Food is okay not so good. So not recommended the property.

Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The hotel is well maintained and has a safe and secure environment. The room rates are reasonable and I will come back for sure.
