We stayed here for one day .Green Moon Residency offers a tranquil haven with lush surroundings. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable stay. The staff is courteous, ensuring a warm welcome. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. However, some areas could benefit from additional maintenance. Overall, it is a pleasant stay for those seeking a peaceful retreat . Child friendly families and couples also can enjoy the scenic beauty and the relaxing atmosphere and calming effect . The host expecially a good guy. Who supported a lot.

The bed sheets and blankets were not clean, and we even noticed a hole in the door knob containing a cigarette butt and some wrappers. These issues were quite off-putting and led us to vacate the place immediately, despite having paid for a full day. Additionally, the balcony is shared by all guests, which compromises privacy--especially for couples. However, if you're a family booking the entire home, it might still be a suitable option. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and did their best to assist us, which we truly appreciated.

Hi All recently I visited ooty, I searched so many hotels and rooms but finally I got such a wonderful Stay i.e Green House Residency. Location view both mrng nd Night is Super, coming to service good and food should be available through Swiggy, You will cover inside ooty location nearby only.

We stayed there for 3 days. Our experience was amazing. They provided a great room with great service. The view from the balcony is great. We sat on the balcony in the morning and at night & got the amazing vibes of view. The hotel guy "Achhu" is a very supportive person.

Stayed for couple of days. The host and owner is very good. They had refunded my last minute cancellation for last day. It was a good experience overall. If you have your own vehicle then better as the location is 2kms away from Charring cross and uphill. Decent stay for 2k per night

I recently stayed at Green Moon Residency in Ooty for three days, and overall, my experience was a mix of highs and lows. What I Liked:Location: The hotel's location is fantastic. It's conveniently situated near many of Ooty's popular tourist attractions, which made it easy to explore the area without spending too much time in transit. Ambiance: The residency has a pleasant, serene environment. The surrounding greenery and the views of the hills were quite relaxing, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Staff Friendliness: The staff were generally courteous and helpful. They were quick to respond to requests, which made the stay more comfortable. What Could Be Improved:Room Cleanliness: Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the rooms left something to be desired. There were some issues with dust and the linens didn't seem freshly laundered. This detracted from the overall comfort of the stay.Amenities: The amenities provided were somewhat basic for the price. I was expecting more in terms of room facilities, but things like Wi-Fi connectivity were unreliable, and the hot water supply was inconsistent. Final Thoughts:Green Moon Residency has potential, especially given its prime location and the natural beauty surrounding it. However, there are areas that need improvement, particularly in terms of room cleanliness and the quality of amenities. With a bit more attention to detail, it could be a much better place to stay.

Very nice place to stay, would recommend and would definitely stay again

Rooms are OK for transit only but not for more than 1 night stay. We got room on 1st floor and there is no sound proofing so any loud talk outside or automobile horns will easily disturb your sleep in morning and late night. We were disturbed when a guest checked in at 2 am and was making loud noise for 30 mns. Privacy is less so you have to move curtains to get privacy and reduce light. There is no fan in room and it is irritating when Ooty recorded highest temperature in last 70 years when we stayed. Room has old model window and bathroom had non working mirror light. Balcony is not useful if staying in corner room and it is a shared balcony. View is average and nothing great. Wi fi is not available inside room. Also we didn't get any bathroom towels or soap that is standard practice. Since hotel is located in residential area, there is no restaurants nearby - you have to rely on swiggy/zomato or drive to restaurants that are not at walkable distance. Cable was not working on our checkout day. Caretaker Achu is helpful esp for tea in morning or night but since there is only 1 staff in morning or night, there are delays esp when guests checkin and we need tea. There is no restaurant facility inside hotel. Safety seemed ok. 2 stars for room facilities, location, privacy, and internet. 1 star for value for money as room is worth 1500 but being sold at 3000 due to high seasonal demand in. 3 stars for room service and safety. Overall 2 stars
