Fortune Resort Sullivan Court, Ooty - Member ITC Hotels' Group

Our experience at Fortune resort, sullivan court, was unique. D view from the rooms is awesome. U can just sit near d window , sipping on ur coffee and admire d verdant lawns and the beautiful scenery. Even in April, d temperature was quite low|The food was awesome. A gourmets delight!|We binged on the cookies served at the tea tasting session, which were so yummy. The staff was so very affable. D place has an old world charm about it and the decor was in keeping with the place. The cute welcome gift was a very sweet gesture at d same time encouraging d local artisans and making them financially independent|All in all , a memorable experience . A comment about Ms Monica, d guest relations manager - her sweet smile and hospitality floored us. Way to go - d entire fortune resort team

The chk-in was very quick & smooth. The entire team @ the front desk receive u with such enthusiasm, U r all ready in love with this place. Service with Smile seems to be there moto .Every Staff carries this up there sleeve. Rooms r cosy & comfortable. Food in Restaurant is Tasty. V r Enjoying our stay. Special mention to Ms. Monika.

VERDICT: EXCEPTIONAL HOSPITALITY. PROS: 1. Rooms are sufficient for 2 adults. 2. Breakfast and Buffet Dinner has a wide range of options for every food lover. 3. Hotel offers HI-tea in the evening very good. 4. Most importantly for alcohol lovers, though I'm not a great fan of alcohol but I have never seen any hotel across the globe offering all kinds of alcohol free of cost along with snacks. 5. On one occasion one of the housekeeping staff took extra effort to make my messy rooms of clothes folded and neatly organized. My wife told me it was one of the female staff who did this. 6. Staff is very cooperative and cordial. 7. Overall Exceptional Hospitality. CONS: Only one con, hotel demands 100% advance. I had to pay around 1.6 lakhs upfront. Actually they should take 25-30% advance and balance 70-75% at the time. I requested them but they were adamant. Either take it or get lost.

A memorable stay for 5nights. Lovely gesture of Miss Monica must be highly appreciated. Welcoming us with sweet smiles and escorting us to the room experience was super. Without any much waiting all formalities were done with a cup of lemon tree. Thank you for the hospitality of the friendly humble staff. House keeping was on time with neat rooms with toiletteries and coffee tea essentials. Drinking water bottles were kept in the room with some complimentary snacks were very good. Our bar tenderer Mr Satheesh was amazing with his great skills and friendly service. Evenings were enjoyed with bonfire and complimentary drinks and snacks Driver Mr Bastin was very kind and knowledgeable person. He was our guide photographer and escort throughout our trip with safe driving. We thank each and everyone for the Service and hospitality. Well trained therapists did a great job with soothening massage at the spa we both had a lovely rejuvenating experience. Lighting the lamp celebration of our special day with delicious cake and decorated room cutting the cake was the arrangement done by Miss Monica was an amazing memorable event. Gifting us with our sketch pic done by the artist at the hotel is wonderful. Once again we thank each and every one for the hospitality. We love the ambiance Definitely we wish to come and stay in the month of October. Thank you and all the best wishes

We stayed in the presidential suite for 2 nights in March 2025.||The hotel is on a higher level with a good amount of space surrounding it. There is a nice lawn in the back, a small garden, and open space where they do a bonfire. There is a small children's play area, game room and spa. The area is nice & quiet. All the rooms are in the main building which also has the restaurant, bar and a small counter selling some local art. Hotel lobby is nice with high ceiling. The hotel staff is very helpful.||The suite had a fairly large bedroom, with good firm mattress. The living room was big but was cluttered with a lot of old furniture which didn't make sense, and got in the way. The bathroom was rather small but functional. Most of the controls (switches, TV and fan remotes) were non-intuitive, e.g., the light switches were in unexpected places, we had to call for assistance to figure out how the fan and TV remotes worked, etc. But, the good thing is everything mostly worked. The electrical outlets were few and inaccessible, so we had to ask for an extension cord, which they provided after a long time.||The restaurant is inadequate for the guests, so it gets crowded and we had to sometimes wait for a table. The bar was not very crowded but service is very slow, and we had to work had to get attention from the staff.||Overall, we had a good stay despite some small inconveniences.

We had a wonderful stay at Sullivan court. We stayed here for 4 nights and everyone (all staff) we interacted with were very helpful. Special thanks to Ms Monica for making our daughter's birthday special during our stay. The restaurant is good too barring a few dishes but the chef was kind enough to hear our feedback and serve us better the next time. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable,

Great hotel. Service at the restaurant was little slow which I realised because the staff sometimes gets busy chatting up with other guests. Maybe they have been asked to engage with guests but that should not come at expense of the service to customers. Except this issue we had a lovely stay at the hotel. Monica at the front desk knows well about the local area and is a great guide.

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Ooty is a magical region and I enjoyed coming back to the hotel after long day- the only thing that can be improved- the gym. I hope to be back to Ooty on my next trip to India. I had a great massage which I highly recommend after a long day
