One of the best views you can get in Ooty. The staff is really polite, helpful and led by their manager Shiva..Very friendly and helpful..Never felt we are out somewhere..Felt homely.. Food was awesome...They have good service team, always on toes to help you.. Additionally they have adventure sports, chocolate factory and tea factory around their resort, it adds more flavour to the location..Location is on the hill so drive will be thrilling..But a must visit location..Thanks to Shiva again..

I stayed at Berry Hills Resort in a Superior Room with a balcony and honestly, the experience was disappointing. The room lacked even basic facilities like an intercom, fresh pillows and the only decent thing was the view -- and that too after I had to request a front-facing balcony roomm The room itself was poorly maintained, with serious plumbing issues and damp patches on the walls. It clearly needs major renovation. The approach road to the hotel is terrible, making the drive up the hill very rough and uncomfortable. While the food was good, it's nowhere near enough to justify the high price they charge. For the quality of service and room conditions offered, the stay felt heavily overpriced. Would not recommend unless you're only after a view and are ready to compromise on comfort.

We recently stayed at this property. So here are the pros and cons we felt... Pros: >>Location: Has a nice view if you book the superior room facing the hills and valley. They have a garden view room as but the hill view will only be worth it. They do arrange a bon fire if you ask. It is at an okayish location at the terrace side, have to be careful if going with family . >> Food: The food was decent. Nothing to extraordinary but you won't have to worry about sourcing food being here. Cons: >> Location: The road leading up to it is really bumpy, so if you are going by car you would feel worried about your cars tires >> Rooms: Rooms could be slightly more cleaner, especially the washrooms. >> Amenities: Could be consistent with the amenities. Broken kettles, lack of tea bags, towels, water bottles. Have to ask for everything and they will help with it. >> Staff Behaviour: Though we do appreciate the boys who were there to help, the service was slightly slow when there were more people staying at the property, so expect extra delays in terms of food or breakfast. Last but not the least, I did not appreciate the behaviour of the manager of the property when we asked to see our rooms first. We booked two rooms, he gave one hill view room and gave the other as a garden view when he has another hill view room ready. We had paid none less to not not receive the same. He just gave an outright no to us, saying he has kept that room SPECIFICALLY for a repeat guest and will not give it at any cost. Even though they wouldn't come in to that property till next day. He would avoid listening to what we have to say and just interrupt us or cut us off. Extremely rude behavior.

Lack of Proper Maintenance|| Rooms and bathrooms are not well-maintained, small, with issues like broken fittings, dampness, and an overall lack of cleanliness.||3. Limited Food Options & Delayed Service|| The food is average, overpriced, and takes a long time to be served.||4. Unreliable Hot Water Supply|| The availability of hot water/geyser is not working in most rooms, especially during the mornings, which is crucial given Ooty's cold weather.||5. Poor Wi-Fi & Mobile Network|| The resort is in a remote location, leading to weak mobile signals and poor Wi-Fi connectivity, which is frustrating for those needing internet access.||6. Inconsistent Housekeeping & Service|| Delays in room cleaning and poor housekeeping services, with requests for fresh towels, toiletries, or room cleaning often going unattended.||7. Overpriced for the Facilities Provided|| The resort charges premium rates but does not provide a matching level of service or amenities, making it feel overpriced. Looking at the photos, it looks so beautiful, however once you see physically. its different. old structure and not maintained. |- Not recommended with the price quoted, better to stay in OYO room. that's why they take the whole payment either in booking or during check-in.

My recent stay with my family at Berry hills resort was very good. My kids enjoyed the trampoline jump which was available at the resort. I enjoyed the scenic view in the morning. The food at restaurant tasted good. Service from Support staffs is very good. Overall very good experience for my entire family. Only car drivers feel the difficulty to reach the resort due to bad conditions of road.

The room view is the best. It very very pretty. The food is also very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Should definitely try this place. The road to reach the resort is muddy but the hotel staff do assist you in crossing that with bike. Since the place is on the hill, they suggest you to reach the hotel by 7 since there can be animals crossing. The overall experience was very good.

Very poor service.. In a hill station resort like Ooty where it is very cold, there were no blankets or sunscreen lotions.... Also, there was no facility to make a cup of coffee in the room. The hospitality, cleanliness of the room, etc. were not at all good for the price paid.. The road to reach was very difficult.
