The resort is located in a calm and peaceful area, perfect for relaxation. The surroundings are beautiful, with carrot, potato, and tea plantations adding to the scenic charm. The room was clean and well-maintained, featuring a king-size bed, coffee sachets, a water bottle, and a kettle. It also offered a stunning view, and the attached washroom was spotless. However, the geyser in the washroom took a bit of time to heat up. A campfire was arranged, which added to the experience, though it came at an additional charge. The resort is about 7 km from the city. While the roads are narrow, they are manageable for a good driver. The staff at the resort were very attentive and made the stay even more pleasant. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay with family, offering a memorable and relaxing experience.

British County is a good resort for a comfortable staycation, offering a range of facilities. However, their breakfast quality is poor, and the food overall is not up to standard. Due to this, I would not recommend this resort to others.

Had a 1 day stay and the rooms were pretty decent and worthy of the money the food and staff behaviour was good and despite calling the reception at 5:30am they picked and corrected the grievance. The only thing they can rectify is the entry area at the gate.. it was little difficult to get the vehicle inside because of loose gravel and soil over there. Could have get it sorted. Expect that we were satisfied with the facilities and services provided.

Awesome location and decent room, And not bad service. Family Friendly Decent Breakfast. Location is incredible, so i will visit again. Water heater not good

This Resort Located 8 km from Ooty best place to stay we Really enjoyed the Resort only draw Staff are good and Room service are very good if any issue and any problem they will solve immediately and staff are very politeness and they keep kettle and Dip tea packets in room They provide king size bed which is comfortable for Two Adult and two kids we book one villa and view are very good to Take photos Breakfast are Nice taste they provide idly with sambar and kichadi but only draw back they provide repeated menu suggestions if they change breakfast items is better Overall best place to stay and budjet Friendly and Manager and Staff are very good Nice place to stay

We stayed at British County Ooty for 5 days. And we had some wonderful experiences during our stay.. We got a Suit room with two king size beds with balconies on both sides with a beautiful view over the mountains.. Ranjit was very helpful in arranging the room for our stay.. Even though the resort is located in an isolated place we felt safe. The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was good but needed some changes in the menu..
