Kodai Elegance Luxury Home Stay Oothu

It's on the way to Kodaikanal hills around 32 km from here. From here two roads will go one to Kodaikanal and another to Thandikudi a village. No restaurant available. But the place is built inside the forest atmosphere which is full of jackfruit trees and a nearby water stream is excellent to take a bath. To enjoy the Kodaikanal climate stay here instead of going to the main Kodaikanal with a full rush and concrete buildings. I tasted a lemongrass tea from near by shop the used cut lemongrass from thier garden pot to make tea with honey was tasted excellent and refreshing makes me to think of a business idea on tha lemongrass tea.

Wonderful experience at the location. Really loved the ambiance. Staying inside a forest is always a good choice nowadays. Loved the hospitality also.. It was bit scary as well as a wonderful experience when some Gaur were roaming around our villa.. Enjoyed the stay very much..

The place is decent. Has reasonable facilities. But no toiletries provided. Caretaker was helpful. The biggest drawback was that it took us an hour drive to reach Kodaikanal. Caretaker provided decent food on order. No newspaper but tea and coffee provided on demand.

I loved the wooden cottage. And it is surrounded by trees. We could see a bison there. The ambiance is so good. And the food which they gave was amazing.
