Western Valley Resorts

Absolutely loved our stay at Western Valley Resorts! The location is one of the best, with breathtaking views of valleys right from our room. The service was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and the variety was impressive. My kid had a blast with the indoor games and enjoyed a lot of open green space, and we loved the relaxing atmosphere. Visiting in May was perfect, with the weather being pleasantly cool. Highly recommend this resort for a rejuvenating getaway. Five stars isn't enough

We stayed at western valley resorts ooty from May 5th to may 9th in the wooden villa no1. Villa is very clean. Views from the villa are outstanding, facing the tea estate. Housekeeping staff is very good n even the reception esp both managers who even allowed us an extension on our day of check out as our flight was delayed. Room cleaning done on daily basis. Room service also very prompt. When I wanted a standing fan in the room as it was very hot, they immediately got it for us. Same with when we needed a blanket. They even asked us if we need a heater.Restaurant staff is very good esp the manager who takes care of the restaurant. Food is delicious be it south indian or even chiness. Breakfast spread was very good n different menu each day. They ask u to preorder ur meal half n hr prior n ensure it is served very hot n fresh at the restaurant. Only thing request the restaurant staff pls don't call at 830am sharp when breakfast starts to come for breakfast as it's disturbing when on a vacation. Also being a south indian restaurant it'll be nice if there's a live dosa counter. Rest all good. Will recommend this resort to family n friends n will surely visit again too

Amazing location in the midst of tea farms. Mornings are magical with the glimpse of sun rise adding vibrant hues to the tea farm. The property landscape is well maintained with many colorful flowers. This is the best and quiet place to stay in nilgiri mountain rather the ooty town which is crowded and polluted. Apperciate the thought of providing sporting facilities like badminton, chess, table tennis, that kept our children busy and not bored, while we enjoyed the scenic surroundings. The food and the service of the restaurant is good. Apperciate the staff hospitability especially by Mr.Manikandan, Mr. John and Mr.Imran.

I stayed for 2 days, it is 3km far from main bus stand. Rooms are decent enough and they provide breakfast/Dinner at reasonable price. But, same menu with few tweaks. Staff is good.But, manager is not a locality and doesn't take much responsibility. I struggled to get cab post checkout. Manager attitude changed post checkout, and wasn't able to get a single cab for transport, but other staff helped out. And also they don't switch on power backup immediately after power cut. They take 15-20mins to switch on.

Good location but away from main city. Takes around 1 hr to reach Ooty city center. Pretty serene, calm location. Restaurant could be better. Service is great. Very helpful staff at the reception

Location is very good, away from city and has a very good scenic view from outside. Rooms are average, some rooms dont have any view from inside. Service is ok, breakfast was good. Dinner wasn't that good at all.

Its mid tier resort with great location amid picturesque scenery around and great family cottages/suite. I highly recommend to take Executive Suite/Wooden Villa as they are quite big and great views. Kids will love it as they huge space to play in these big rooms. Activities are pretty limited - games room needs a makeover as most things are not working or very limited games. Restaurant is above average - some things are hit others are miss. Gravies like paneer butter masala or Kofta, Pasta were horrible, however Roti/Phulkas, dry vegs, Soups and Dal we ordered were really good. Staff is overall good but not very well trained, no welcome or see-off to guests. Restaurants staff is kind of non-flexi to customize per guests taste buds. It was a let down. But awesome location, secluded from Ooty with 30 mins drive/14 Kms and great tea gardens scenery is something USP of this place. If service/food is improved will be a great place

Very affordable. Spacious room. Small bathroom. Beautiful ambience with a variety of flowers all around. The resort is in the middle of a tea plantation and beside a carrot farm. The approach road is an estate road and is nice for a morning walk. The view is just stunning. A small ambient restaurant serves tasty food. They have a vivid menu which is reasonably priced. A badminton court, gear cycles, carrom board, chess board, TT table, archery are all available for free. Overall, it's an amazing 3-star hotel.
