Hotel Seahorse

Most unpleasant stay that is how we can conclude our stay in this hotel on 7th of this month. the cleanliness is well below the standard and not even a bed linen is provided along with the blanket. the blanket was not comfortable enough for use. There is no restaurant as advertised. No foot mat in front of the rest room and the rest room is not big enough for comfortable use. I will never opt this place for stay anymore and will never recommend to anybody.

I was forced to stay in this hotel on my unplanned business trip to Nagappainam, where I reached at late night and this hotel was suggested by a local contact. Extremely unhappy in the following basic amenities||1. Bed and linen||2. Toilet and toiletry||3. Air Conditioner (old window type)||4. Dirty Floors of the room and toilet||||Anything I like? Let me think. well....still thinking.

Small room, affordable rates. Slightly away from the buzz of city, which is good. Rooms are not very well maintained, especially bathrooms. No restaurant, but coffee is procured and served. No lift, hence moving luggage is tough. Bed spreads and quilts were very clean. Since rooms are small, you literally need to live out of the suitcase. Tv remotes in working condition are borrowed from next room.vCar parking can accommodate around 7-8 cars. People are amicable. Ok for a short stay.

OKAY. but it's can be better. Room service was excellent and more friendly. The negative side is the room has a slightly bad smell Food can be arranged for all time. Overall I'm a satisfied customer for this price range.

We stayed in family room With AC and it was very spacious. Comfortable stay. No restaurant inside the hotel. Many mess are there near the hotel.||The beach is located behind the hotel. One can go in the evening. Beach is not much crowded.

This is the only business hotel in nagapattinam. It looks like the people know it better and understand you got no other choice. If you expect something from the looks you are going to get disappointed. You only need to rent the room and your room mates are mosquitoes and cockroaches. Smells like hell. You need to take time and understand you got nothing else. My suggestion is sleep in your car and use a public facility to fresh up. Better to Satyam back at karaikal and commute to nagapattinam

Sea Horse is the nice name of an ordinary hotel half a km off Nagapattinam bus stand. It is on the main road and has parking space for 8 to 10 cars. Seahorse has just three single rooms, all of them on the ground floor, facing the road and the dust it raises. The windows cannot be opened for reasons of privacy, noise, dust and mosquitoes. That makes the rooms suffocating, with no air circulation. My room, number 110, had a fan that either goes full blast or stays still. The regulator had lost the speed button, leaving just the one inch pin - and my fingers to act like a vice. The ceiling and the side walls were soaked in some long term leak from the first floor. The bath room door is permanently warped and cannot be bolted. The commode is Indian style (Ouch, my knees...). The floor has old stains and clutches of hair... ||||So I shifted to an AC room after one day. The AC rooms are slightly better and larger. There is a double bed. The blanket is woollen. There is a tea poi and a chair. But the bath room is rather lean, 3 feet wide and 7 feet long.||||Morning coffee was to arrive at 6.30 AM, but even past that time, there was no sign of the 'boy', nor would any one acknowledge the order. Strange that the restaurant opens only in the evening. I learned to take a one km 'morning' walk and have my coffee- and breakfast, when exiting from Seahorse for each day's work.||||'Rich Food Court' is the new name of the attached restaurant. First you see the Chinese kitchen, open and the work area visible and overall appetizing. Then you enter the brick walled hall with a faint symbolism of the fireplace on the back wall. The hall can take 30 diners at a time. Strangely, the joint is open only for dinner -- dinner is a wrong word because what is on offer are South Indian snacks and basic Chinese items. Double check on the vegetable stew that you get gratis with chapatis and parotas -- I got two chicken bones in mine. The serving staff was cool about it - as if nothing unusual happened!||||Not a great stay, and forgettable food...

Worst customer care. I had taken a room here for 6 days. Because of upcoming festival at velankanni church they asked me to move out after two days as they will get rent at double the price. When asked about it they argued that it was already booked 1 month before.Manager was not there. Staff didn't provide any assistance. They should have told this in the beginning. HALL WAYS NOT HYGENIC. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL FOR OFFICIAL PURPOSE. NO GST BILL. VERY FAR AWAY FROM BUS STAND. NOT PROFESSIONAL. BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK.
