Oakvalley Resort Kotagiri

The view is nice But Location is very far from Ooty and you need to wait for a long time for any food Also the rooms are quite okay.. But can keep it still cleaner..

This resort is well managed by Naveen and his Father. Rooms are clean and well maintained. They arrange food from a nearby mess, breakfast is good. Lunch and dinner not so great for vegetarians. They provide tea and other hot beverages. Dongle was provided for WiFi which was helpful. They take a lot of effort to ensure guests are comfortable, its not a luxury resort but it is a good one for families. We had a peaceful time and will definitely visit again.

It was good place to with scenic view with homely feel.. very decent location with good host by the resort people's. Timely service was very appreciative.

Very pleasant stay. Homely feel. Neat and spacious room with balcony and attached toilet. Hot water available.Owners Rajan chettan and Naveen really made us feel at home. Very friendly staff. Rajan chettan's specially prepared masala tea was delicious.Food served at room. Stay was ever memorable. Will definitely reccommend for friends and family visiting Ooty and Kotagiri.

Mr. Naveen who is taking care of this resort is a very friendly person. He stays in a house integrated with the resort. He is taking care of Oak valley located in Kookalthorai village along with Naveen cottage located closer to Kotagiri and Apple breeze resorts which is also located in Kotagiri. We stayed for 3 days and I would definitely say thay this resort is worth the money interms of the location and pleasant environment. Food is arranged by the resort from the nearby village... hygenic... tasty and home made of course... we were 4 adults and 3 kids and we took food for 4 times along with tea 4 times a day... which hardly costed us 2k. which is absolutely surprising.... Ample car parking is available and if 3 to 4 families can stay on first floor where balconies are interconnected means with 1m wall in between but still a good one for communication... Wifi router will be provided upon request... Airtel does not work in this area.... Jio is best for this rmeote place... Don't miss to take a morning walk to Uyillaty water fall.... They make camp fire until 9.30 pm only as per forest dept norms... Honey lemon tea in the night is a pure bliss here... I will recommend this resort for all family people...

Rooms are very neat and clean. The location is very good, super scenery from balcony. Staffs are very good. Good service. Would recommend for others and would stay in same place for next visit.
