MM Legacy, A Bergamont Hotel - Kanchipuram

Stayed for 3 nights. The room is nice , clean and spacious. Booked for one night first and then extended for 2 more nights as we found the place comfortable. Staff were helpful. Especially Mr. Tyagarajan helped us to get information on temples, booked a cab to Chennai when we couldn't hire one locally. Commute from hotel to temple is also easy. We can find many autos opposite to the hotel.

It's a nice hotel with well furnished rooms. Stayed at Room number 320 and the beds are harder than other way around we would have expected. Housekeeping needs to be improved and they are not prompt enough, whenever we make a request to them. Complimentary breakfast is amazing with a vast range of food. Apart from a few issues as highlighted here, our stay is complete one.

Stayed three nights. A major put off is there is no air con at the lobby or, poor air conditioning. Was told reasons which are unacceptable. Main ceiling lights at lobby not on day or night. Creates a very dull atmosphere for guests. Only one key card per room although room booked for 2 adults. Such an lncoveniece. We asked and no reasons given, just avoidance. We didn't get a response, if they don't have answers or can't solve the problems. Room was clean and spacious. Clean bathroom. Staffs are nice. Committee should provide staffs with accurate info. Reception can be more communicative. Worst in room dining menu I have seen. Food listed are very limited especially vegetarian. However, when asked they were able to prepare many dishes which were not listed.

We are delighted with the hotel's rooms, services and food. Special thanks to Mr. Madhivanan for arranging exceptional hospitality, and Chef Francis Saviour for the delicious food. We were also impressed by the honesty of room service staff member Netaji, who returned our money after we accidentally left it in our previous room.

Reception guys are very helpful and made checkin facilities very fast Room was very neat and specious. All toiletriese provided. Enough hot water in wash room. Very specious restaurent and food was very tastey. Complementary breakfast very nice with good variety food. The staff in the restaurent was very nice with smiling face. They are always around the victories asking for any help weather they need.. Great ... Keep the hard work and service always..prakash 304

Coming back to this hotel after 2 yrs and the experience was horrible. First we were given 2 rooms on 4th floor and then we soon found out there's massive renovation work happening right above our rooms in 5 floor with loud banging noise. Next day they shifted us to 2nd floor rooms that was even bad, the AC stopped working thrice, the electrical points were not working, the health faucet was not working properly and what not. Then we go to the restaurant where only 3 tables were occupied but they took more than 45 minutes to serve.... Food taste is also very average. Looks like the management is very poor at this hotel. Would advise everyone to avoid this place and look for better alternative.

Decent sized rooms but both the rooms and toilets are smelly. Toilets aren't clean for a ' 3-star' hotel. Snacks placed in the room are charged. Ended up paying an additional Rs.585. For a room that costs Rs.6100 per night ( equivalent to some 5 star hotel rates in tier 2 cities), this is an overvalued property. Not 3-star worthy.

Had an amazing stay! The room was great--clean, comfortable, and quiet. What made it even more special was being randomly invited to a reception function, where the hospitality was incredibly generous. Such a wonderful experience! Would definitely stay here again.
