Lodge Al-Muzammil

Lodge is neat and clean. Very friendly team and from railway station 3km distance( fare - 150rs) Near to mayiladuthurai old bus stand.

Rooms are neat, clean and hygienic. Way to room is little bit dirty. Economic rate. Room service available. Hot water available if we needed but you have to pay for it (service boy only). No mosquito problem. Charges for double bed non AC room is 670 per day. Best for value for money.

Average Stay. Charged 550/- for Non-AC. Near to Mayiladuthurai Bus Stand. Initial Tap water was very muddy. Taps were leaking all through the day. Suited for Budget and Solo Travellers. Road to Lodge was not good, especially at night times. Not much suitable for family people. No Lift and Sufficient Car Parking. Old People may find it difficult to climb the stairs. . Cleanliness could be improved. No Basic Amenities provided. Not Much Ventilation in the Room, Summer season could be a problem. Overall its OK if you are for a Short Stay and expecting Budget Rooms.

One of the worst lodges in Mayiladuthurai. I had booked rooms for my family over phone, days before my visit and when I reached the hotel early morning after a tiring bus trip, the irresponsible staff in the reception casually say that the room has been given to someone else as there was a miscommunication. I even reminded them of my journey the previous night!! They absolutely made no effort to make alternate arrangements for their screw up. Thank God there were rooms available in Pams nearby, otherwise would have been stranded on the road with my family at 4 AM. Worst experience. Please avoid this horrible place!!

Neat rooms at reasonable price. Very near to Bus stand. People who wish to visit various temples around mailaduturai can opt for this lodge and easily access bus for every temple around here

The way to reach Al-Muzamil from bus stand is very difficult due to rain water. As the same time maintaining the rooms are appreciable. Keep it up.

100% agree with the below mentioned review from Surya Prakash. Water provided for drinking from water filter machine is not upto the mark and tap water is somewhat muddy which can be corrected .Alcohol drinking is strictly prohibited and place is clean as promised.

I chose this lodge by seeing the proximity to bus stand and reasonable price and it was worth it.
