Hotel Krishna Residency

Nice large rooms. Kind of old rooms but decent for short stays. Family can stay without issues. All essentials are there. Parking is available. Early morning coffee or tea is not a problem since they have their own short eat and tea / coffee shop in the ground floor. They don't have a full-fledged restaurant. But just across the road, there is Vasan's parambariyam - A splendid vegetarian restaurant.

Worst rooms. For sure a person will get throat infection with their fungus infested rooms. I booked for two families and due to traffic, three people reached there first and myself reached 4 hours later. Since, I booked the room, out of respect for me they stayed in the hotel. I reached the hotel after 4 hours, once seeing the hotel, seeing my mom and dad, brother-in-law got throat infection all of a sudden. I immediately vacated the hotel and booked another hotel nearby and went there. Since this is a tourist area and all the hotels get booked fast, this hotel is in business I think. Poor maintenance and please don't consider this hotel at all.

I recently stayed at Hotel Krishna Residency in Mayiladuthurai along with my family and relatives and unfortunately, it turned out to be a nightmare. Firstly, they allotted a family room with smelly and damp, with a leaking AC, no hangers, broken cupboards, and no water heater switch inside the room. inoperable door and no water in washrooms. Then they allotted another room which was somewhat better than previous one. The linens were not washed for years and the washroom didn't have a inside lock. For a hotel that charges Rs 2500 per night seems to be unjustified. All the rooms were in the same condition. The service was equally worst. When we entered the room, the room boy asked for tips whose duty was about to end. Overall, I strongly classify this unfit place to be called as 3 star hotel. Guests, stay away and Better not to stay here.

Rooms are very smelly. Rest room flush buttons not worked. No hygiene. Simply Waste place. Better Avoid this Hotel for stay.

I recently stayed at Hotel Krishna Residency in Mayiladuthurai, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a deeply disappointing experience. The lack of basic hygiene was shocking, especially for a hotel charging 3,000 per night. The room was smelly and damp, with a leaking AC, no hangers, broken cupboards, and no water heater switch inside the room. All the rooms were in the same condition, and I was forced to pick one despite the poor state. The service was equally appalling. The manager was arrogant and dismissive when I provided feedback about the room condition. Instead of addressing my concerns, they ignored them, leaving me feeling unheard and frustrated. To make matters worse, my child was constantly coughing due to the heavy dust and dirt on the bed pillows and throughout the room. This was unacceptable, especially when health and hygiene should be a priority for any hotel. Additionally, the promised amenities were either unavailable or not functional. There was no Wi-Fi service, and the parking arrangements were chaotic. Frequent power cuts added to the misery, making the stay unbearable. Overall, this was a nightmare experience. I strongly urge others to avoid staying at Hotel Krishna Residency unless they address these significant issues. For the price, there are far better options in the area that prioritize cleanliness, comfort, and basic customer service.

UPI and card payments are not available, despite being mentioned on Google. Additionally, the listed amenities such as bathing facilities and breakfast are not provided. The location is also far from the bus stop, with no autos available in the morning , Wi-Fi noted providing to customers and no network inside the room for airtel and Jio.

Very poor experience..mobile network is nonexistent inside their hotel premises..intercom doesn't work..wifi is not available..poor room service..cold and hot water mixer in bathroom of R #117 didn't work..parking inside is a nightmare..we parked our car outside..they didn't provide towels till 9 pm..there was only one wollen blanket for twin occupied room..prospective visitors to MAYILADUTURAI should look for other hotels
