Centrally located near New Bus with access to old Bus stand. Good service. Though I was hesitant to checkin initially since rooms and furnitures are. Very old I had a peaceful stay for two days visiting temples nearby (Thiruvenkadu) Mayuranathar Shivan temple is also located at walkable distance. Market place provides excellent opportunities to dine. Staff are cordial and the room is very peaceful and secured to stay. Fresh fruit juice shop at doorstep is an added advantage especially during summer season. Room tariff is reasonable and affordable for tourists.

This is a vintage style lodge with below average facilities. The rooms are not decent looking however the maintenance of beds are very good (clean and no foul smell). They charge non ac and no tv rooms at Rs.600/day. I don't think there is a room service here. This is not much suitable for family but instead for single person or bachelor stay. If you're looking for a family then you just need to adjust the looks of the rooms. It's located close to market area so locality wise it's best choice.

Decent priced place with and without AC. Quite got a comfy stay there. Well cleaned and maintained rooms.

Old Lodge, 700 per day for 2 stay non Ac. Spacious room. but old type. Old flooring, not that much clean. Has balcony option in few rooms. No heater at room. Call room service and they bring immediately. For those thinking more comfort, this isn't for you. Only one fan in room. Difficult in summer. 600 metres from mayavaram old bus stand. Near to many shops and market. Car parking available, not gonna stay much In room, roaming temple, can adjust , then this is affordable place for family.

My wife and I used a room no. 106 this day from morning 5.30 to 10.00 pm. When we arrived the counter person said the charge would be less if we did not use A/c or TV. Accordingly we opted and he had not given us the TV or A/c remotes. But when we left he started demanding the charge for A/c deluxe room. Finally after argument he relented. It is better to be cautious in dealing with such persons.

H. S. Lodge is ok. One thing needs mention here, A lone room attendant, Sudir, if I remember right, is awesomely good and obedient and seems service is motto. Should be taken care of. God bless

They don't even know the meaning of customer service...very rude receptionist and the helperman...when you open taps in bathroom, very yellowish water comes...they have never cleaned water tank for ages it seems...very poor maintenance.

Normal lodge. Be careful about thier information on the tariff. There is no heater in the rooms. Room toilets are not clean.
