Sri Ram Guest House

A good home to stay. It's a 2 bedroom apartment where in each bedroom 2 persons can sleep. The place is closer to the Parimala Ranganathan temple. The challenge is the property isn't maintained properly. The air conditioners are full of dust ( I ended up cleaning the filters when we stayed). The rooms are not properly cleaned, the beds are not soft and not sure how frequently it is getting washed. The main challenge is there is no one there to clean the place. If the property is properly maintained then the money what we pay is worth it else it is not.

An average experience for families. For 2,500 (Non-AC) per night and an unusual check-out time of 8:30 AM--despite checking in around 8:30 PM the previous evening--I felt the value for money was lacking, considering the stay lasted only 12 hours. While the floors were clean, cobwebs and dust were evident on the shelves and ceiling fans. The mattress was uncomfortably hard, and though the bathroom and toilet were decent, cockroaches entered through an open drain pipe, which was unpleasant. Several nearby hotels offer AC rooms for the same price. Based on the positive reviews and ratings, I had higher expectations for this place. Although the owner and staff were friendly, the overall experience was disappointing.

i have stayed in non ac rooms for 6days..i would say 1200rs/day for non ac is not worth it 900 is enough for non Ac they are overcharging for non Ac....Dirty bathroom, too small bathroom no shower, buckets and all tiles in bathroom were iron rusted,too old dull bathrooms, Lizard ,cockroaches and spider roam around everywhere,NOn ac rooms is like 100yrs old.. geyser parts is rusted like not have been serviced from so many years...foul smell coming from hot water not good for sensitive skin..online photos is a scam for guests..but AC rooms are good you can stay in AC...its my fault only that i did not trusted other guests reviews on this hotel..if you also dont trust me then go and experience by yourself and do regret and realise after that..owner of this guest house USHA RANI amma she is very good person she stays there only....

Greatplace to stay with a family. Service is top notch. Owner mam will treat guests as her family, loved the stay.No issues for hot water, additional beds, parking..etc They dint say No for anything we asked. Homely experience and wonderful stay.

I enjoyed my stay at this property. This was a second home to me, The owners are very nice and kind people and they took good care of our needs during our two day stay. They ensured we were comfortable staying there. There is fresh RO water available along with AC and hot water. The rooms are spacious and clean. The owners also provided accommodation to the driver along with parking space. Overall, a good value for money and much better than expensive AC hotels.

We enjoyed our stay here with family. Very peaceful and calm location. Early morning you can sight 20 species of birds, you can enjoy the calmness by sitting on the porch. The house is clean and bathrooms are clean. Hot water is working always. It's a perfect stay for family, feels like home. The owners are very friendly people with helping tendency and ready to arrange transport. There are couple of coffee shops, vegetable stores. Overall it was a wonderful stay. Vishal

This is a cosy place in Mayiladuthurai and staff here are very helpful. Owners are kind and very polite. We had great expectations while booking after reading the reviews but when we checked in, the room shown to us was a 2 bed room one, unfortunately it had only one toilet. As it was winter rooms were pretty cool. House keeping could have been better. As the owners were away this was not looked into properly. Later the owner promised to take care of this in future. Their AC rooms are new and were kept clean. Description while booking was not clear as to what room we were booking in for. They do have good parking space too. The staff here help to get food and coffee from outside if required. There's no in house restaurant. The owner lady is very courteous and extremely helpful.
