Excellent property. Clean rooms with a beautiful view. Even bathrooms are well maintained Hadn't expected such great rooms and service. They made full dinner and breakfast excellently. Managed and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Finally they made jeep safari and our luck we see the tiger also thanks to Mr.Santhosh

"THIS IS NOT A RESORT" +update. Dear Owner, instead of upgrading your services, it's funny you call me from your competitors. I saw your next door competitor too from your property and its looks just the same as yours. It's a reality that no one wants to spend their time and effort so imagine my frustration. I have no idea how does this place get more than 1100 reviews with a 4.6 rating. A see-saw, a carrom board, 3 very uncomfortable swings are all that this place has in the name resort. We booked this place seeing the number of positive reviews. Funny that one of the reviews even stated that they will just come here for a very good food. I guess this guest never had food in ages. Our experience was nothing short of nightmare. We booked a day in advance, paid 2000 upfront booking fees like any. To reach this place be ready to drive through a farm land. Not at all recommended to visit if it has rained a day before; or please be prepared to have your vehicle skid a muddy ramp and go directly into a farm. We told at about 2 pm that we will reach at about 7 pm as we were coming via Ranganathittu and Bandipur. We were greeted with this: 1. Make full payment before you could even see the room 2. No drinking water and no glasses 3. No water in rest rooms 4. Room stinking of mold 5. The curtains of the room were not even covering the windows properly and were almost see through. You have no privacy in the room. 6. Dustbin in the room was dirty. 7. When asked for tea, were told that the cook is busy in making food. We had to call the owner to request tea which finally came. 8. At 7 pm there was no bon fire nor was it offered. 9. When drinking water was provided, there was no water jug. A 5 liter can of water was provided with two glasses. The least you can do is provide fresh water jug with glasses. 10. We were provided with a family room with two queen size beds. No chairs or furniture inside the room except a small plastic table and a wardrobe. 11. The beds are sulking spring mattresses. My wife could even sleep properly. 12. The walls of the room are made of pop panel and it had marks showing that the cloth hangers were trying butnof course they didn't stay there. 13. What you speak in the room is not private at all and can be heard outside. 14. I thought that since this places looks like more of bachelor haven, they may have some ice cubes but none were there. 15. the shower wouldn't work, not because of pressure but the water was all leaking if turn to shower side. Also, no shampoo, conditioner, no dental kit, no room iron. Even after 1 hr if checking in there was no water, the water tank was overflowing the ceiling of the bathroom also started leaking. I finally was so fed up that I started looking for another resort at 8:30pm and then pushed them to give me another room. That's when we were given the room facing the Ooty hills on first floor. Next 20 mins went by to kill a big cockroach and a honey bee. The food is average. I have eaten better food at a road side eatery in Tamil Nadu during my earlier trip to Hogennekkal. There were boys playing loud music in a cottage nearby. Our entire mood got spoiled of thinking why did we book this place. Even at check out, no one came to get our baggage down. We ourselves brought them down and loaded them in our vehicle at around 12:15pm. I got very upset when at checkout they asked us to pay for the 5 liter can that they provided us in the name drinking water. I had to tell them sternly that since they didn't provide us with drinking water, why should I pay them for this 5 liter can. The have bisleri glass bottles on their dining tables. Oh yes in the name of room service that number is just tell your complaints as there is no room service. Good thing was that they had hot water in bathroom at 10am. You guessed it right, no hot water at 5 or 6 am. Even after reading this review if you think this is a good resort, then people you really need to visit at least some resort near mysore. Even that one will be 100 times better than the Midway Jungle Resort.

I recently had a wonderful stay at midway jungle resort in masinagudi the rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained, making for a very comfortable experience. I also loved dining at their resturant the food was delicious and reasonably priced The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return!

It was a good stay in a remote location without any disturbance. Rooms and services were good.
