LABDHI RESORTS

Stayed at Labdhi resorts in February, and our stay was super pleasant. The meals were delicious, and the staff was very warm, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. The views of the hills from the resort are great. Most of all, you can have a view of cows and langurs in the resort itself. Would like to share a very heartwarming incident. While checking out of the resort, we, unfortunately, left one of our bags and proceeded to Ooty. We realized this only midway through our journey. We called the resort and checked whether the bag could be dropped midway. Mr. Kumar, the resort owner, was so kind as to come and drop the bag himself by traveling over 20 kilometres. This was despite the fact that there was a shortage of staff that day and that there was much renovation work that he was overseeing. He could have easily refused to do so, but was so considerate and empathetic. Thanks, Mr. Kumar! Our family loved the stay at the resort - we have great memories of this place! Highly recommended!

This place is a combination of 'hell yea'-s and 'ugh, nope'-s. While the wood laden cabins will give you a mysterious forest dwelling experience, its ill thought out loft bed area will make you feel eerie (think horror movies, think someone walking down that area). But behold, if you are a big family with kids, then the loft is a safe haven to arrange spacious sleep for the family of 4. Food prepared by the mess was top notch - healthy, light runny curries, (nati varieties for the carnivores out there), soothing food, much like that of a (nice) grandma's preparation. Again, the location of the resort is a said reality. Nights feel nothing less than the prequel of a psycho thriller. Blank deep nothingness, that's your view from your room. A unique experience. Will we return to it? Not immediately and if we do, we shall return with a gang of friends. Make your pick!

Nice view of the mountains and scrub forest in the background. Rooms are neat clean and sufficiently provided with furniture. Only problem is hot water. Geyser not provided. For hot water they will start a boiler with firewood. Timely hot water is an issue. Simple restaurant serving pure vegetarian dishes. Food taste is excellent. Some wooden cottages have loft (elevated upper observation deck) which is great. Rooms are very spacious with big windows for a better view of the surrounding scenery.

An unforgettable stay! The location is serene, nestled right at the edge of the jungle. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and the food was absolutely delicious -- felt like home. Perfect mix of comfort and wilderness. Highly recommend!

One of the best place I like to visit again and again whenever I go to Masinagudi. The rooms are quite comfy. The location is amazing. Situated in middle of the jungle this place has scenic view. They have a lot of space for playing indoor and outdoor games so quite friendly for kids and large families. One of the awesome thing is the restaurant. I love the food they prepare. Infact while going to ooty we have our lunch or dinner there even when we are not staying. Manu and his staff are very courteous and can help you with everything you need. So go there with family and friends to enjoy the peace and ofcourse the nature around it.

I had a wonderful experience at this resort. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was exceptional--it really felt like home-cooked meals with generous portions. We absolutely loved it. The only downside was that the water quality for bathing wasn't as clean as we would have hoped. However, this was a minor issue in an otherwise fantastic stay. I hope the management takes this feedback into consideration and resolves it. Overall, the resort is beautiful, and I would definitely recommend it to others!

-We booked 3 rooms (Superior king room with loft) for 3 families. We stayed here on 7th May 2025 -Location seems to a bit isolated by seeing the way to resort but perfectly steps you into nature, there are multiple resorts in the same location -Rooms which we booked were in excellent view to forest with big glass windows in room on both the sides, very well maintained, super clean. WORTH for money what we spend -Kids have an play area where, couple of games for smaller kids and for mid and elder one's, they have box cricket, badminton, table tennis -Camp fire will be provided on ask which is sub to additional cost of 1500/- -It was told that this pure vegetarian but they will serve non veg which will be cooked and brought from they another resort (Tiger Paw, also owned by same Owner - Kumar Pal) but the day when we stayed, they didn't had the non veg cook available, so we ended up with Veg menu. Taste wise food is very good, the quantity they are providing is also good so think and order. Dinner we ordered plain rice, jeera rice, curd rice, dal, mix veg curry, aloo mutter, peanut masala, masala papad, panner 65. Breakfast (veg mixed idly, samiya, vada, pongal) on next day was also very good with 4 varieties on main course, 2 varieties of fruits, chocos, cornflakes, Tea & Coffee -Coming to service they were very flexible, they have arranged campfire right in front of the room (actually they kept individual campfire setup for every room of this type), along with food, so we have enjoyed campfire with food in lawn open to sky. -They have hot water setup with boiler concept, so if you are not getting it, do inform them and they will fix it, actually we faced this issue and didn't notified them due to our hurry. When we informed it to the owner (Kumar Pal), he was saying that we could have reached them. -The owner (Kumar Pal) was very polite and approachable person, we couldn't get much time to talk to him but within the short discussion, understood that he is very friendly and helpful to guests. Next in list, the manager (Manoj to my knowledge, sorry if the name was incorrect) very nicely spoken person and clear with his communication. Last but not least, Surya (helper, attender, second in charge whatever you call), very helpful person, he patiently explained in all the details, and provided completely satisfaction service for us. Overall rating: 4.5/5, Food rating: 4/5, Ambience, cleanliness & Staff response: 5/5 Will suggest this stay for families and kids, if you are looking for some peace and want to enjoy nature with no disturbance. This is perfect and you will feel the premium quality. Do reach the owner or members over there, as they mentioned that they have 5 different varieties of safari, treks, birds watching, guided nature walk etc which they can arrange in the service of guests
