Wooden ECR Sea Resort

This is a small resort situated in Chennai ECR road. Rooms are well equipped with ammenties like automatic curtains, Dyson bladeless fan, refrigerator. A really small but nice pool. Food was great. Staff was very helpful and polite. Very well maintained and clean. Only issue there is nothing nearby, only beach is 2.5 km and nothing nearby for rental. You can ask cab for long distances like Mahabalipuram or Chennai. So really great experience.

You have to travel to this resort by Car, (infact whole pondicherry by car) otherwise it is very inconvenient to reach this place. Very good ambience. Food can be improved. Nice private beach just 2 kms from resort.

This is not a resort nor is it sea facing. Its a small hotel with a small swimming pool and ideally not worth more than 5k per night. Based on the description I was charged 15k per night by make mytrip and realized the above at check in.

Hi All, It is very Small Resort. Please don't expect anything more. However the ROOMS were COZY, Really COZY. They had DYSON Air Purifier, all good. Wooden rooms gives eliteness. SMALL POOL, enough for the rooms they have. My kids(Son 12 and Daughter 8) enjoyed a lot. We were there for 2 nights. Awesome Staffs..Thamizh & Pradeep at front desk, fulfilling your needs. Then comes the Kitchen Team Sengeni(CHIEF CHEF)..Attached his pic Avinash(Assembler)..attached his pic Aruna(Coordinator). I dis not take much pictures, As I myself was enjoying the place. These people will try to match your flavour.Trust me, they will go beyond Menu card to taste your to tongue Buds. Awesome, Great work. Cons Dear owner, please add more menu to your Kitchen Items as well Create a small Jeep trip to Alampara fort, village entertainment as well Beach trip for fun. Thank you all.

Rooms are super cool. All are automatic doors , curtains,fans & etc. Mainly they have subscribed to the OTT applications which we can use in our room itself.

We were looking for getaway from Bangalore to Pondicherri but couldn't get any budget friendly stays there, we chanced upon Wooden ECR Sea Resort which is 25 kilometers away from Pondi Even though the resort is about 1 Kilometer from Sea, it the really nice, the rooms are spacious and clean, we were family of three with a child of 5 years. Breakfast is complimentary but you need to pay for Lunch and Dinner, we are vegetarians and we had delicious food in the resort.and the room.Our son enjoyed the swimming pool . The drive to the sea is also free and memorable, the only thing we noticed is the food takes long time to prepare. P.S : I twisted my ankle and I was helped by the wonderful staff, please note, the nearest medical clinic is 5 kilometers from the resort!!!

Really good resort on the ECR road. Little far from the Pondicherry city centre, but good place to stay. Food at the restaurant was really good. The staff were friendly and polite. The staff Sudha and Vijayalakshmi were really helpful. Ambience was really good. It is also a very good pet friendly resort and food is made on order for your pet. Rooms were really clean and managed well. Really liked the interiors in the room. Each room has a good sit out area and that was awesome. The resort has a decent pool within which is well maintained. Overall great resort and experience. P.S: There is a private beach (as they call it) which is almost 3 kms away and is isolated. Roads to the beach is not that great.

One of the good resorts for staying. Rooms are fully furnished and built with wooden work and smart features available. The resort's ambiance is too good and small swimming pool also available and surrounded with speaker and sunbathing area also available. Speakers are placed in full garden where common music playing which make resorts atmosphere interesting. Breakfast available but lunch dinner u have to order because they are buying outside. Rooms front views are too good. Staff also very welcoming and supportive.
