Mamalla Inn

We booked two rooms for an overnight stay.|Whilst staff were polite at reception and the rooms weren't expensive (3500inr each), I definitely would not stay there again.|Lacked maintenance and feels old. The rooms were clean but basic. Whilst there was AC, we ended up having to disconnect the plug as it wouldn't turn off. |The bathroom was clean but felt old and in need of renovation.|WiFi was available but catastrophic.|Electricity cuts were numerous.|Breakfast was included and had both Indian and Continental. However, felt more like old food reheated. Continental option was more than basic. Restaurant decor was old and not pleasant - staff not particularly helpful or approachable.

A very relaxing stay with the friendliest and most accommodating staff! The roof pool is beautiful. Large rooms. Comfortable beds. Centrally located. Highly recommend. There is much to visit in Mahabalipuram, and great local seafood available.

Rooms are spacious, cleanliness is average for rooms, but the surroundings are dirty and ground floor corridors get urinal-like stinking, especially in rainy days. Cannot be rated as hotel, it is a lodge.

It's terrible experience, as room does not have basic facilities. The washroom is really bad . Hotel do not provide tea or coffee in the room. The only good thing about hotel is breakfast and food . This hotel is like a Dharamshala

I dont know why people gave 1 and 2 Rating. Trust me its very good hotel. Near to Bus stand beach and temples. Swimming pool is awesome. Dont think tok much book and enjoy your trip. Genuine feedback from myself. I travel from Ranchi Jharkhand.

I recently stayed at Mamalla Inn in Mahabalipuram and had a disappointing experience. Despite the high price, the quality of the room was poor. The room wasn't cleaned properly, and the bathroom tiles were soiled. The breakfast was particularly underwhelming, resembling the low-quality fare you'd expect from street vendors. Additionally, while online prices appeared reasonable, they charged a much higher rate due to the weekend. Overall, it did not offer good value for the cost. It seems that Mamalla Inn's Google reviews might not reflect the true quality of the experience. Based on my stay, the room was not clean, the bathroom tiles were soiled, and the breakfast was subpar, resembling street food. Despite online reviews suggesting otherwise, my personal experience didn't match the positive feedback. The high weekend rates also didn't justify the poor quality.

Location is good. 1 minute walk from Bus stand. And most of sightseeing places are nearby. Rooms are spacious and clean. But very basic furniture in room. They provide a single plastic chair and a table in room. Their restaurant is awesome. Buffet breakfast is good. Dinner not much options but they provide very tasty and quality food. Very polite and courteous staff. Amazing service.

We went out as friends for 1 day and night. Great location and nearby also you have lot of restaurant's. The hotel also charges fair price for it's dishes. They have a roof top swimming pool. And nice play area on the terrace.
