OYO Hotel Radhakrishna

OYO Hotel Radhakrishna, located near the Meenakshi Amman Temple, is convenient for pilgrims and visitors due to its proximity to the temple. However, the street is very crowded, and there aren't many good hotel options in the area. This hotel charges around 3K to 4K for a room with three beds for one day, which felt quite expensive considering the quality of the stay. The staff were polite and helpful, and the lift facility was a useful addition, especially for guests with luggage or elderly visitors. However, the room we stayed in could definitely use some renovation. The furnishings looked outdated, and the bathroom, while functional, was just okay and could be better maintained. The overall infrastructure of the hotel needs improvement. Considering the high rates, I expected better quality in terms of cleanliness, upkeep, and amenities. It seems the hotel relies heavily on its location near the temple to attract visitors and justify the price, but the value for money is lacking. While the location is ideal for temple visits, I'd recommend looking for better alternatives unless necessary. If the rooms and facilities are upgraded, it could become a much better option for travelers.

I had very bitter experience with this place.i had booked the hotel through agoda.com for a day stay. It happened on 24 of December 2024.All the way we drove down 400 km just to hear the hotel management say we don't have a room availability and moreover we don't have a tie up with any of the booking sites viz agoda, oyo or any other booking sites. But they are listed in all the above mentioned sites.Is it the sheer atrocity of the Booking site or the property owners.I had planned my itineraries based on the hotel booking but everything collapsed.Double check by calling the property owners, else the Management will say WE DON'T HAVE A TIE UP but you could see the visuals of the place in multiple sites. This is a fake hotel. They will accept your booking via agoda Or other Online website, but they will say there is no room currently available. It's really irritates more when you come with old people and small kids. Pls don't book here.

Very worst hotel. Bathroom door were not closing. Staff said to take the luggage in rooms by ourselves. Flush was not working. Not suggesting anyone to go this hotel.

Beware of Hotel Radha Krishna in Madurai! I had the worst experience here. This hotel is a complete scam. They take your money, and once they've got it, the service becomes non-existent. The staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. I paid for an AC room, but the AC didn't work, and no one bothered to fix it despite multiple complaints. This place is a nightmare, and I strongly advise against staying here. Don't fall for their cheap prices; it's not worth the frustration and disappointment. Scam ! Scam ! Scam ! We booked it through OYO for 2250 (because the phone number given on google is of oyo not hotel's) while if you directly go to Hotel the price is 1600 only. However the rooms are not worth more than 400-500. First of all, it is not a hotel it looks like a lodge or dharamshala or a servant quarter. Rooms are dirty, amenities are basic, just bed, tv and an ac. The room door has a keyhole from where anybody from outside can peek in which is really unsafe (refer attached photographs). Furthermore, when we reached we have to wait for 30mins because room was not ready even after booking online 4 hours ago. They don't even give u a water bottle or a kettle. It is for sure the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The only good about this hotel is it is walking distance away from Meenakshi temple and 1-2kms away from madurai junction.

I stayed in this property on 11-12th nov for a night, hotel rooms are dirty, hotel manager John has done fraud when we booked a cab via him. Kindly avoid this hotel and any booking through the hotel.

Very bad hotel plz dont book any room.reception boys are very bad behavior. Dont trust them. They are cheating costumer's
