OYO 66254 Hotel Keerthi Annex

We initially had a booking in Grand Sabarees Hotel but they relocated us last minute claiming some maintenance work. Totally unprofessional behaviour from a high rated hotel on Google. Nevertheless we're thankful to get a room in Keerthi Annexe. Staffs were helpful and there's a nearby vegetarian restaurant. Bear in mind there's no WiFi in the room, only available in reception area.

The rooms are spacious but not good ventilation,the washroom is next to the main door which makes it very inaccessible,the sheets and Towels aren't clean enough All this for a price of 1300 NonAC

Non ac suite room is available in 2250 rs in December 27_ 28 in madurai

Stupid reception person. We were greeted by this receptionist called as Karthik Raja who doesn't know how to behave to guests. We had booked online, but due to some payment issue it failed. So when we reached the hotel at 10 PM and tried to re-book from there he said its not possible to book online as the Check-in time is 12 PM and we had to wait until 12 in midnight. We told him several times 12 PM is afternoon and not midnight but he didn't understand. He said you can pay offline 900 rs for non a/c and 1200 for A/C room. ||||The good||1. The rooms were newly made, good and very clean, has a nice cupboard, small table and chairs. ||2. TV was working fine. Has Tata sky connection.||3. The bathroom is very big and awesome, but has a semi translucent glass wall. And the door didn't have a latch to lock it. That was weird. ||4. Interior was done in a modern way and looks good. ||5. Location is near to temple. 5 minutes of walk.||||The bad||1.No WiFi in 3rd floor when we stayed. But i hope they will fix it soon. ||2. The hotel is located in a very crowded market like street. They have a good parking for 2 or 3 cars, but its a bit hard to take out car in morning as the street is so crowded. ||3. Doesn't provide blankets. Only gave a thin white sheet even for a/c room||4. Lift was not working||5. Cutting down 2 stars for the receptionist behaviour.

Would have given a zero Rating if there was an option. Room charges should be in 500-700. Behaviour is bad. Room is below avg. Good thing is they allowed to checkout at 1:30 PM. and it is just 800 mt away from the temple

The location is at prime place. But very bad experience. Bathroom was not clean but they didn't clean even after reported thrice. They don't provide me blankets.Then we fought with them for the blankets and then again fought for clean blankets. We got stuck in lift. No water in the room. They don't provide dust bin in the room. The only positive thing was they allowed us for 24hrs check in if we pay are ready to book them individually but not through MMT.

I found the hotel by chance. Needed two rooms with attached bath and also needed just to sleep overnight. I booked the hotel using goibo and the room rate provided to me was really affordable. ||The check in was easy, yet the person sitting behind the desk wouldn't speak a single word in English, it wasn't difficult at all. He sure could learn to be a little more courteous and smile a little, but he was more interested in watching cricket match than attending to the hotel guests.||The boy who helped us to settle down was really good and offered his help,for any room service that we wanted. ||There is a small restaurant in the corner of the street was a real find for us.||Only towels are provided, take your own toiletries. There is no hot water, although the bathrooms had geysers in them. ||There is a parking and the hotel guard will happily look after cars for small tip. ||We rested well.. great vale for money...

There are two different hotels with same name of same owner.. Hotel Keerthi and hotel Keerthi annex. Hotel Keerthi annex is non-AC in which we had our booking. The Hotel is under renovation work. Due to which it is very noisy. The rooms and washrooms are not clean and stinks. The bedsheets are also very dirty. There are bedbucks too. After telling the problem to the manager he was not co-operative and we also had problem of language barrier as the manager does not entertain Hindi speaking people and english is also not very comfortable for him. The owner was quite co-operative and gave us room in Keerthi hotel which has AC rooms. The rooms here were quite better than the previous one but not satisfactory. The bedsheets and blankets were very bad in conditions. There are alot of Mosquitoes in the hotel. Rooms service is also not good. I think MMT should check the rooms physically before setting price and giving 3/5 star ratings.. Customer have to face alot of problems due to this kind of issues.
