Excellent Family Stay at Venkateshwara Hotel, Madurai! Our family of five had a fantastic one-night stay at Venkateshwara Hotel (previously Sree Devi Hotel), and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Highlights: Super Helpful Staff - The reception team was warm, efficient, and went out of their way to assist us. Spacious & Clean Rooms - The rooms and bathrooms were well-maintained, and comfortable for all five of us. Ample Parking - No stress finding a spot for our car--plenty of safe parking space available! Budget-Friendly - Great value for money without compromising on comfort or service. Delicious Buffet Breakfast - The spread was amazing with a mix of South Indian and North Indian options--fresh, tasty, and satisfying! We have zero complaints--everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for families and travellers looking for a clean, convenient, and welcoming stay in Madurai.

I booked this place for a single day stay. It is a little difficult to find this place as it is located below the flyover. The rooms were neat and tidy. I went along with my kids and they loved this place. The bed and sofa were clean and well-maintained. Spacious room and clean washroom. The rooms were highly ventilated. Vijay, the person at the front desk was very helpful. I would recommend this place if you travel in your own vehicle. The way of commuting from this place is a bit difficult. If we book a cab or auto, they will charge double the amount quoted in the app.

We attempted to book a room at this hotel for 5 persons, which includes a senior citizen who requires wheelchair accessibility. We clearly communicated our needs regarding the rate and the number of people permitted in one room. However, upon our arrival, the staff informed us that not all of us could stay in a single room, and they unexpectedly increased the charges. This was unacceptable and a significant waste of our time, especially considering we travelled all the way from Chennai. We expect better communication and service.

I regret to share my extremely disappointing experience at Hotel Sree Devi, Madurai. My stay was filled with numerous issues, and I would like to highlight some of the most concerning points: Overcharging and Misleading Rates: The rates charged were significantly higher than what was initially quoted. Despite confirming the price at the time of booking, I was presented with an inflated bill upon check-out. This feels like an unfair and fraudulent attempt to charge guests more than they agreed upon, which is absolutely unacceptable. Poor Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the room was below standard. The bathroom was dirty, with mold in the corners and uncleaned surfaces. The bed linen looked worn out, and there was dust all around the room. This lack of attention to cleanliness is a serious concern, especially in the hospitality industry. Subpar Breakfast: The breakfast served was of very poor quality. The food was bland, stale, and lacked variety. It didn't even meet the basic expectations for a hotel offering breakfast services. Considering the price charged for the stay, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. Fraudulent Activities by Manager: The behavior of the hotel manager was unprofessional and deceitful. Not only did the manager refuse to address the overcharging issue, but I also felt misled and treated unfairly throughout my stay. It was clear that the manager was not interested in resolving any of the complaints or offering any form of assistance. Overall, my stay at Hotel Sree Devi was a major letdown. I would strongly advise potential guests to be cautious and reconsider before booking. The hotel's practices are not transparent, and the overall experience was far from satisfactory. I will certainly not be returning.

Nice stay here, We got airy big room with windows and 2 attached bath. One of which is having broken jet and very small almost unusable. Bathroom was clean. Fast service. Clean rooms. Location is bit negative, bit far from temple (auto charge 150)

Overall good experience. Staff behaviour and support was nice. Location was under flyover that took little time and effort to find out.

Very good stay. Good service. Only disappointment is the night watchman was arguing with us in the bike parking lot. He was not happy with the adventure bike which we have, didn't argue with him as we were too tired.
