Hotel Temple View

If I had an option to give a 0 rating to this hotel, I Would have surely done it. one of the worst stays to be honest. The room was full of bed bugs and cockroach. On complaining the same to the hotel manager and requesting for a change of room , his reply was that all rooms are full and all rooms are infested with bed bugs and he cannot do anything about it. Infact he behaved so rudely as if Iam staying for free in his hotel. These hotel manager should understand that just because he has his hotel building near the temple premises doesn't mean he can act the way he acted. I would recommend everyone not to choose this hotel just because it's close to the temple premise and for sure choose some other hotel instead of staying in this "Hotel Temple View"

Worst Hotel in the area. It is not 3 star, but just like a regular lodge. They deliberately canceled my booking, and gave me room with extra cost of 600 Rs. It was late in the night and I was with family, so they took the advantage. Also the room was dirty and bathroom was worst then a 3rd class lodge(see picture). ||Also there is No Temple view, there are lots of building in between hotel and Temple. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Worst experience of my life, I don't know how they got 3 star title. To me it was like a lodge(see photo). Rude staff, and scammer manager. I booked it for 2400(including tax), manager cancel my booking and gave me room for 2700. It was 12 in the night and I was with family, so I had NO way to go but accept his offer. I am not sure if booking.com website also involved in this scam(I booked it through booking.com)

My purpose of stay was to catch the next day Train. I checked in at 2.00pm on 16/02/2025 in Room No 311. Paid on demand even before Checked in the Rent Rs. 2688/- upfront. Since I scheduled to Vacate by 7pm next day, I paid 1250/- for late check out.|Miserable stay experience.|Near to Madurai Railway Station. Day Time Manager has guided us for Nearby Restaurant and Place of visit etc., Night Time Manager was Guest Centric.|Day time Manager who was NOT Guest Friendly. He declined to furnish the Bill for the payment of stay. Strongly suspect GST evasion for 2688/- + 1250/- for the Late Check out. He declined to provide Bottled Water but directed us to draw water from RO plant.

Obviously this hotel is in a great location. There's no complaint there. However the room I was in was infested with cockroaches. I'm not exaggerating when I say I saw at least 20. Wouldn't recommend staying here despite it's good location.

Hotel is absolutely amazing and hotel staff was very friendly with top notch service. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Only issue was with parking other than that great stay.

The hotel was fine but very basic and checkin area is quite chaotic. The good part was that we were able to walk to the Meenakshi complex within minutes. I wish there had been a kettle and a way to make tea.

The peoples are very friendly and helpful...And location is quite close 5-8 min walk to temple's west tower entrance.. Rooms are not as expepected.. The delux double room is advertised as for 2 Adult &2 kids.. Sure cannot accomodate the four with only one queen bed.. And no space for additional bed even if want to request. Can harvest cockroaches.. Poor cleanning... Be cautious about used bedsheets... Had to complaint to get the sweat smelly bedsheets replaced... They given unacceptables excuses..
