Hotel Sri Arulmuthu Residency

Stayed there for a period of 2 days during April... The prices were decent and fair for 4 people... Saw many reviews of nearby hotels and thought that this hotel will also be the same... but for our surprise the entire stay was amazing and comfortable and most of all rooms, services, toilets hygiene, parking, hot water availability everything was on point and good. For Pure Veg people there a good pure veg restaurant just near to the Residency and food quality was also decent and good. Overall nice stay and will definitely recommend others to plan their stay over here.

Nice and pleasant stay at main city location. Rooms are neat and clean. Wide parking space. Ours was short trip but staying here really memorable

You get what you pay for. One of the cheapest accommodations around. The place was clean enough and the air-conditioning was good. No lift and stairs are quite steep so not the best place for aged people.

One of the old and very good residency. It is old building but still looks so new and refreshed. Pricing is reasonable and affordable. No lift for elders (only if required), but rest of it looks like a palace from inside. Looks like a British structure and has good open space parking. Beside there is a hotel for good quality food.

Rooms are neat and spacious. AC needs maintainence as outlet water is spilling. Daily cleaning rooms is necessary, water bottles not available, but arrow water can be filled. Coffee/tea maker can be provided. Prominent place to stay.

The place is entirely different from the pictures shown. It is an old hotel. No lifts. We have to climb heavy steps. Small rooms. In our room ice cubes are dropped from ac vents. No restaurant. All they have is a car wash for Rs 150/-

Classic church abbey hostel converted lodge. Beautiful building good parking on the backside, typical attendants who wrre helpful and a Lil grumpy management who I'dint interact with much but I guess we're ok being classic madurai men ;-). A.C was strong, Great location and has nice hotels just outside. Recommended for a short stay in a small room at a reasonable price. Food has to be ordered from next door hotels which has awesome n tasty southindian food at sabareesh. Has a seminary nearby but the sound levels of prayers calls and sermons were not disturbing.

Rooms are small and not at all clean. Full of dust. NO LIFT. Climbing hill is far better than climbing these stairs. Useless receptionist.
