Hotel President

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel President in Madurai. From the moment we arrived, the staff like Jodhi and Chotu made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. Every request was met with a smile and efficiency, which made our stay truly comfortable and stress-free. The highlight, however, was the food. The in-house restaurant served a variety of dishes that were not only delicious but also showcased authentic South Indian flavors. Each meal was prepared fresh, well-presented, and bursting with taste. Whether it was the traditional breakfast spread or the dinner options, everything exceeded our expectations. Overall, Hotel President offers a great combination of comfort, good service, and exceptional food especially breakfast. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madurai!

*Disappointing Stay - Not Worth the Price* We stayed at Hotel President Madurai for one night with our family (2 adults and 2 children), and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The room condition was poor, with visible issues that reflected a lack of maintenance. Hot water was unavailable during the entire stay, which added to our discomfort. The staff were unfriendly and lacked the basic courtesy expected in the hospitality industry. Breakfast was below average in both quality and variety, and cleanliness throughout the property was well below acceptable standards. Considering the high price we paid, the overall experience fell far short of expectations. This hotel is definitely not worth the money, and we would not recommend it to others.

Great value for money hotel. Good decent rooms. Near and clean. Front office staff are very courteous especially Mr.Raavanan. Room boys were also very helpful. Had a smile always on their face. Good room service too. Food quality was decent.

This hotel claims to be a 3 star hotel. It is not even a 1 star hotel. Dirty rooms with wall paint peeling off. The taps are dirty, bathroom doors are sticky. The bed linens are not ironed and look shabby. The rooms are not cleaned everyday till you tell them to. And they proudly claim that they wait for the guests to tell them to clean. I don't know what they are charging so much for. Definitely not worth paying so much. There are much better hotels in Madurai, don't go by the online listing and rating of this one.

Not worth for money you pay, I had booked a family room for 6704.00. After checking in I found the rooms to be much older. Cleanliness is the least factor u can expect. The hotel is situated at the beginning of the flyover which causes it to be crowded with vehicles. Too noisy always . The drainage smell welcomes when u come out of the room. Even in Restaurant we can not expect hygiene and cleanliness. Totally not worth for money. Attn: to Concerned we pay our hard earned money don't disappoint us like this.

Breakfast is fantastic. Lunch is good. Service and courtesy by Jyothi and Surya are very good and sincere. Felt like at home with our kids than a hotel.

We were at the Hotel President Madurai for staying overnight and had the worst experience of front desk service ever in my life. We paid money for an extra bed but did not get the extra bed. The manager argued with utter disrespect and denied to refund the money. He has absolutely no clue on how to talk to customers and behave decently and courteously. We will never stay here ever again for sure.

Stayed here for one day in Madurai and experience was not good at all. Was given room 2 hours late because the earlier guest checked out late. Hotel staff was unapologetic about this and was ignoring our requests. Ladies at reception were the worst part. One of them was laughing at us while the other one seems to own the hotel as she was not ready to accommodate any of our requests. Very bad experience all together. Breakfast is tasteless. Location is too bad as it is difficult to find due to too many one ways around the area. Won't recommend this. There are plenty other good hotels in same area.
