The hotel failed to meet even basic expectations. The [mention issue: cleanliness, service, amenities] was unacceptable. Extremely disappointed with the behaviour of the receptionist. The [staff/management] did not address the issue even after multiple complaints. The staff was unprofessional and unresponsive. Customer service was non-existent."l The attitude of the employees was rude and dismissive. Definitely not worth the money. The amenities listed online were not available. This was a complete misrepresentation. photos on the website are deceptive; the actual state of the property is far worse. The rooms were filthy, and the bedding looked like it hadn't been washed in ages. The condition of the bathrooms was appalling. Clearly, hygiene is not a priority here. I would never stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and look for other options. This place is not worth it.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed at, and the room service is terrible. We arrived at our room at 9:30 pm, and it had a terrible smell. The bathroom tap was also broken. We immediately complained, but no one came to assist for 30 minutes. After we raised our voices, someone finally arrived and told us he couldn't fix the issue. I went to the reception to request a room change due to the broken tap and the foul smell, but the staff refused, claiming no rooms were available. After some arguments, they reluctantly moved us at 11 pm. Every time I asked, the receptionist kept saying it would take 30 minutes for someone to help. Additionally, the AC in the new room didn't work properly, and when we complained, they once again told us to wait 30 minutes because only one service person was available for the entire hotel. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. NEVER PREFER THIS HOTEL AS THE STAFF HAS WORST BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS COUSTOMERS

I stayed in this hotel for 02 nights. Location was good close to Madurai Junction Railway Station and Meenakshi Amman Temple. Room was small and washroom floor levelling was not good. There were water leakage from the toilet flush and the shower was defective. Reception staffs were very co operative and the complementary breakfast was also good which was served in their rooftop restaurant which has a temple view. We ordered for our dinner and the food was delivered to our room like Swiggy delivery with only use and through plates without any other cutlery. There is lot of scope for improvement in the maintenance of the hotel rooms.

Comfortable stay in a slightly congested street. Slightly ageing property. The location was good. It's 1 km away from Meenakshi Amman Temple. There is a secured car parking which can accommodate about 6-7 cars.

Hotel is clean and hygienic. It is just 100 m from railway station 800 m from temple . Appears a little costlier by its looks but is in medium range affordability. For breakfast lunch, there are various restaurants near chennai silk .

If you want to feel the worst kind of behaviour from security to receptionist and above, then only go there. This has to be my worst experience with this big hotel ever. Receptionist will look down upon you if you are not from local state and you will have to stand for hours to get any thing corrected or update from him. One guy 'Madhur' was the worst among the lot. Upon complaining about the washroom, his answer was that this is peak season and I have to manage with whatever I have got. When asking about the solution from him very politely, he stopped responding and went to the other side. Don't waste your money there, better to go hotel Madurai Residency or some other hotel there

If you wish to visit Madurai, book a better stay in a better hotel. Park Plaza is the one of the worst hotels, I have ever experienced in my life. I paid 3000/- with taxes for a room for two where water is provided in one bottle and a single towel is provided knowing the fact that the customer has booked a room for two. These people lack common sense due to which hospitality is a brand new word for them. The city has a temperature of 26degc at night and the ac temperature has been set in the hotel room to 24degc which after calling the reception for for more than 3times was still not fixed... Our experience has been extremely disappointing. Please never book a room at the park plaza in Madurai.

Just few meters away from Meenakshi temple is the main usp of the hotel. Otherwise the behaviour of the staff is rude and noncoperative.. One of the staff started shouting in his language when we didn't offer any tip when we reached at our room.
