Hotel O Anna Nagar Madurai Formerly Viswa Towers

The hotel was located far from the main road and wasn't easily accessible through public transportation. The address mentions is it located near Tamilnadu Mercantile Bank, but it is atleast 1 km away from the landmark. So, this increased the cost of transportation everytime we went out of the hotel. The rooms didn't have basic things like blanket, towels. The rooms had Television, Heater and telephone but none of them worked. There was literally no room service available and rooms weren't cleaned even after asking to do so. The worst part is the Toilet where water stagnated and flush didn't work properly. It was nothing like shown in the picture. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madurai.

This hotel is very far from temple... You may find a no of hotels near by temple... After darshan Meenakshi amman temple we had to book this hotel through oyo online.. and spoke with oyo customer care as well to confirm my requirement with them very clearly before going to hotel. But after reaching the hotel the maintainance guy rejected to allot rooms demanding more money. Even the oyo cs team has not responded in that time. Don't believe the Oyo hotels.

12 noon check out is not fare. As we checked in the night. By 11 am the asked vacate. No grace time was given. We asked room in the back side because wanted silence. Was forced in the front.

NEVER BOOK THIS PLACE if you are wondering about booking it or not. As we arrived to the place we were unable to check in as we were told that our name wasn't on the list. This was booked prior and we contacted the property informing we could not use the payment link that was forwarded to us. The property answered that we could've just make the payment at the time of the check in. I have all the screenshots of the communication. Instead, they canceled the booking last minute and left a family that have been traveling whole day u til evening, a wife and husband plus a little baby of 4 months old who is very sick, in the streets on a fully booked pre Christmas Eve, without any accommodation or support! This is unacceptable.

First of all the hotel doesn't deserve even 1 star because of the trouble caused by the receptionist. This is the worst expensive oyo room I have booked till now in terms of room and service. I have booked it for two days, i got delay for some to check-in to the hotel. My room was allotted to some other person. I was told to wait for half hour for it to get the new room, I waited patiently even if it was not my fault. Later, I was told to pay extra 300 rupees to get a room by the receptionist. When I questioned for that the receptionist was very arrogant and unrespectful. He said me to do what ever you want, but I wouldn't get a room unless you pay the extra amount. Thankfully through mmt app I contacted the OYO service and they helped me with it. It expensive in term of facilities and cleanliness of the room. The bathroom are in very bad condition. I wouldn't recommend to stay in this hotel unless you don't have any option.
