Hotel Madurai Residency

My honest review as I stayed in this hotel with my family. Bathroom very small in size, no towel stand and hooks, no proper water heating facility, loose toilet seat closer which you should balance it with your back, a tiny wash basin and low in height, shower panel is not releasing the water evenly and overall an old and outdated wash room - Room floor is dirty, kettle if full of dust inside, importantly one charging port is not working out of two ports, bedsheet is with stains. So, except bathroom and room cleanliness, all other things? are good. Highly not recommendable for family stays. Overpriced too. But breakfast is good. Location is main and accessible to many places. Staffs are good.

One of the best places to stay for a business trip--this was my fourth time here! The hotel has a great ambiance, and the rooms are excellent, with comfortable beds and efficient AC. The complimentary breakfast is also fantastic. Highly recommended!

The hotel location is good. The room safe quite good but the service is poor, the staff doesn't seem to have basic decency especially the ladies at the reception. She refused to even talk to me before 12pm which was the check in time. But overall the hotel is decent

Located centrally with breakfast included are high points. But, could have been better sized rooms. We were 3 adults and paid accordingly. Even then, I feel room we got (Comfort size room) is not big enough. Extra bed was big and occupied much of the available space. During day time kept it outside and again brought in at night. Service was excellent and overall it was worth the room charges. No toilet paper provided. We asked room service to provide

Location of the hotel is good. Parking is valet only. Comfort room was good. Breakfast spread was reasonable. Cons: they provide only 1 litre drinking water per day as complimentary. All the staff is expecting tips.

The hotel strictly denies early check-in for online/MMT bookings, even if rooms are visibly available. Despite polite requests, the counter manager cites "no availability" until the standard 11 AM-12 PM check-in time. This rigid policy can dampen your travel mood, especially for devotees like me who need early check-in due to temple visit timings. It seems they prioritize offline bookings, though the benefit of denying check-in for just a few hours is unclear. Food is average--better options with better pricing are available nearby. Rooms, however, are clean and well-maintained. Tip: If early check-in is essential, plan alternative arrangements.

Love this Hotel. Super fast check in. I used to wonder why Hotels are asking me fill a form while checking in. All details should be in their system and they can take a print out and take my signature. This happened in reality in this Hotel and I felt delighted. All the staff are super courteous. Room is very good and the lunch here was also very tasty. Service at the restaurant was good. Decided to stay only here everytime I visit Madurai.

The front office staffs were too arrogant and rude.They were not even customer friendly And also regarding the rooms, it was small and full of mosquitoes. After being there in my room and saw the amenities, I wondered whether it is a 5 star hotel or 3 star hotel.It has the space and amenities poor than a 3 star hotel. And the room service was so terrible too. The only positive thing that I felt is breakfast. It's better to go for other options rather than going to this hotel after paying huge amount and still has to be treated by front office executives very badly.
