HOTEL BOOPATHI MADURAI

I stayed at this hotel for one night. Initially, I was given an AC room on the 4th floor, but it was quite small, congested, and had no windows. Since I was traveling with my parents both senior citizens and my brother, I approached the reception and requested a better room. The staff were very accommodating and immediately provided us with two AC rooms on the 1st floor, which were much better. Positives about the hotel: 1. The staff were friendly and helpful. 2. The hotel is located near the Madurai Meenakshi Temple. 3. Hot water was available. Areas for improvement: 1. Room cleanliness could be better. Some walls were damaged on room no: 106 and a few electrical switches weren't working both on room no: 106 & 108. 2. Only paid parking is available, which is not included in the room tariff. 3. There's a bar located beneath the hotel, which made us a bit uncomfortable while walking outside. Although the hotel owner may claim everything is in good condition, this is an honest account of my experience. I kindly request the management to consider improving rooms 106 and 108.

Although location is good because Mandir is near with walking distance but side of this hotel the sale of wine/liquor not good, as in evening up to 11 pm you can observe people coming to enjoy. Caretaker didn't provide towels and no facility of intercom to call or say anything if needed. There was no dustbin in any of the rooms. I can say it's average type and for 1 night it's ok.

Worst Experience - Highly Disappointed! I booked Hotel Bhoopathi in Madurai through the Yatra Dham app for 2,128 plus convenience fees after checking the room photos. However, the actual experience was completely different! Upon arrival, the room was in the worst condition imaginable. There was no hygiene, no proper cleaning, and even the bed sheets were not changed. The entire place felt unhygienic and unmaintained. This was especially concerning as I booked the stay for my wife and a female friend, expecting at least basic cleanliness. The photos on the app were misleading, and the hotel did not match the standards shown. I have shared all images as proof of this terrible experience. This place is absolutely not worth the money! I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel and choose a better option.

After travelling all over india on a tight budget and staying in hotels for two months straight I can safely say it was the most disgusting room I have seen, you will never be lonely in the room at least with an army of bed bugs and cockroaches to keep you company, we didn't even stay the nights we booked and checked out on the same day and left for our sanity and hygeine. The price is obviously a big attraction alongside the location but I urge everyone to just spend a little more and save yourself the filth. The mattress was very old and when touched released clouds of dust, the room was barely cleaned and the management/owners need to spend a little money on renovating the place or start charging the insects rent otherwise any sane individual with self respect will stay far away from this dump. Unfortunately it doubt much will be done after reading other reviews I can see that the management is aware and either don't care enough or is too prideful to admit they need to fix anything. 1/10

Very Disgusting place ever I see . Very bad room and facilities are very poor . I know they will reply back my message and prove themselves that they are right but I swear that please don't listen them and choose wisely while choosing rooms . Don't Choose this one ever in your life . Rooms are very dirty and beds covers and blanket and pillow covers are not washed since many days . In toilet, full of dirty and not clean toilet are there . Very Disappointed with this service to customers.. Never and ever don't go to this hotel .. better to go another hotel for giving more money.

The images shown and the rooms you get are different . Completely ugly snd very worst hotel rooms. This lodge is located in very tiny and tidy road and the car parking you see in the images are for bar which is inside the car parking area You can only park the car if there is place other than bikes standing there Better to go with some other lodges .

Very old rooms. The room is clean. But no dustbin. Also wardrobe glass is not an accessible position. The rest room is not clean. The location is good. Nearby hotels and shops are there. Situated next to a bar and always some men are standing there. NOT FOR FAMILY.

I just loved staying there without any issues for 2 days and 2 nights... Good wifi provided tv, good water supply both hot and normal water, dressing table and side table is provided totally nice place
