This sweet place is clean and proper. The hotel is centrally located and people are extremely helpful. It's a heaven for a budget traveller like me.

No HOT WATER, A C DOES NOT WORKING, MESSY BED AND PILLOW, TOWEL LIK3 DOORMET, THE STAFF IS FORCING TO BUY FOOD WITH HIGH PRICE AND HUGE QUANTITY CHILDREN ARE ALSO CONUTED AS EXTRA PERSON THE STAFF CAN KNOCK YOUR ROOM AT MIDNIGHT 2:00 AND ASK YOUR CHECK IN TIME, PAYMENT DONE OR NOT AND CHECK OUT TIME BECAUSE STAFF SHIFT IS CHANGE AMAZIN UNPROFESSIONAL HOTEL AND STAFF. BELOW ZERO STAR HOTEL SPECILLY YOU ARE NOT TAMIL SPEAKING THEY FORCED YOU TO SPEAK IN TAMIL AMD AND MADE COMMENT ON YOUR DIALECT

This is not hotel. This is PUBLIC TOILET IF YOU WANT TO WASTE your MONEY , YOU CAN BOOK THIS HOTEL. Just 300metres away from the Meenakshi Amman Temple. Just in front of Alagar movil temple.Nearby to the Madurai Junction Railway Station just 1.5 kms

Hotel management and services are worst. Reception person are very rude. Actually we faced problems while checkout the room, it get delay for half an hour, reception person was speaking in rude manner and he asked the service person to stop the power supply to the room. Very money minded hotel management. We weren't had a pleasant stay in this hotel.

Pathetic service Public toilet is better than this HOTEL AKSHAY GRAND DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, SPECIALLY don't PAY ADVANCE

4 stars only for convience from hotel to Meenakshi temple. Talking about hotel its way different from the pictures shown on google. Had face various issues related to untidy, smell in the room and bed bugs all around the bed. Power sockets dont work properly and when raised the issue, the main elderly worker working there said that have you paid for 5 star that you are complaining. Thts very arrogant statement from him. More over their doors have gaps which is a dangerous to your privacy. Suggest to only go for this if you dont have any other option.

This hotel is good for people who travel by train. It is not suitable for people who travel by car, as there is no hotel parking and in the photo you will be able to see cars parked in front of the hotel. They are temple parking and for each 12 hrs you have to pay 100 rupees. I questioned them why was that not informed while booking was done and I told them that I will sure mention it in my review for which the hotel staff started talking in a rude manner. People who travel by car better go for different hotel. Next the whole place is surrounded by unruly people shouting the whole night and you will be able to hear their shouting inside the room and you will not be able to sleep peacefully. The lift is a old system where the person using it has to manually close the doors inner and the outer.This causes heavy noice disturbing you. You will not get hot water at any cost if you go in the evening as the manager said they are using solar system. So you have to wait till next day for hot water. Better think 100 times before selecting this hotel.
