Fortune Pandiyan Hotel, Madurai - Member ITC hotels' group

We spent a couple of days at Pandian while visiting the temples of the city. Although the property is a bit old, it is well-maintained and perfectly suited for city travelers. ||The restaurant offers a great selection of delicious food with attentive service. A special mention goes to Soumen, Gayathri, and Ansuiya for their exceptional service--they were always eager to meet the needs of every guest. ||The kids' food was especially good, Kudos to the chef !! Our one-year-old thoroughly enjoyed it, which made our experience much easier. They even packed some snacks for our journey, which was a thoughtful touch. The swimming pool was also well-maintained, and our 5-year-old had a great time unwinding there.

We stayed one night at the Fortune Pandiyan Hotel and I have to say, we were truly impressed. The hotel is quite old (built in 1968), but it's in excellent condition -- very well-maintained and clean. The food (we had both dinner and breakfast) was fantastic, and we are quite particular when it comes to food! At breakfast we had one of the best coffees we've ever had during our trips to India. What stood out the most however, was the outstanding service. From check-in to check-out everything was absolutely top-notch -- friendly, attentive, and professional. Special shoutout to the reception and the dinner/breakfast service teams -- they really made our stay exceptional.

Food is excellent and got a good understanding on food with chef surili rajan. They treated us in a friendly manner. As usual the south indian breakfast is excellent. My son enjoyed hot chocolate first time. At the end we had a ginger tea which gives me completeness.

All good and satisfied. Chef Surlirajan and his team take care of us very well. Food is awesome. Rooms are maintained well . Over all experience is wonderful . Welcome staff are polite and guide us very well. Amenities are good. Pool and gym are maintained well and experience in those amenities are fantastic.

Recently joined their summer swimming camp. When they take for admission, they told they will teach professional level and at the end of the training, we can swim confidently. First two weeks they taught the basics and after that they not even taught rest of the techniques. Now the course is about to end, but my son knows only 50 percentage of the technique. Even after the complaint, they didn't take any further action. All my complaint went to deaf ears. I didn't expect Pandiyan hotel will do this kind of cheating. Just for 15K, they are loosing reputation.

We had a lovely stay at their hotel from 14th to 16th April. Location - It is conveniently located and it takes approximately 15 minutes to reach Meenakshi temple. Room and Amenities - We stayed in a Fortune Club room and it offers a city view. The room was good and had all the basic amenities in place.They have a lovely garden overlooking their breakfast area with lots of greenery and some birds. Housekeeping - Excellent. They are really quick to accommodate any kind of request and very polite. They take care of every little things while cleaning or delivering water etc to the room. Food - Breakfast had a decent buffet spread and the dishes were prepared really well. All their restaurant staff were warm and hospitable. Their chefs used to come to our table to interact and take any special requests. Our 2 year old also enjoyed their food and hospitality. Special mention to their Pongal and Moong dal dosa which were prepared to perfection. We had ala carte dinner once and it was very homely and tasty. Top notch quality food and services overall! Front Desk - Very helpful and prompt in their service. Their check in and check out process was quick enough and they were very warm and hospitable . Overall we loved the stay.
